Obviously by now, everyone knows about Olimar's Down-B SAFs. Am I the only one who thinks the using this will be a huge part of Olimar's competitive metagame, especially considering he is one of the lightest characters? SAFing someone's F-smash is an awesome way to get a free aerial on them. <3...

No gonna lie, HGM feels a lot more like Melee.

Naw it's the American version. It's been this laggy since Friday (The day I got it). I'll try to find a friend in NYC who also has it to play online with, and if that doesn't work I'll just wait a while and see if it's just some server problem.

Well, from a mostly unbiased perspective, the reason people think it sucks it because it's not Melee. And of course, there are some elements that make it less competitive (Everyone being floaty, tripping, ect).

In random matches, the entire thing is extremely laggy and unplayable. In friends matches, there's about a second input lag for me (I'm in NYC, not sure where the other people were) I've tried on two different net connections, it's still pretty bad. Anyone else experiencing this?

I've found the best way to hit with a misfire is ALWAYS assume you're gonna misfire.

I'm lucky I don't play against any peaches that are that good. I generally just try to avoid the D-Smash and I can live to like 180-200 percent. And by that time, the Peach will have lost their stock already. Peach players who know one attack FTW!

Yeah, when I actually do dair spike with Luigi (which is pretty rare), it's usually either his butt hitting the opponent. I haven't done it consistently enough to know for sure, but it seems to be the case.

I figured landing it would have to be because of opponent's stupidity. Is there any reason to actually use the dash attack then?

How is it done? I hear that it works really well, but whenever I attempt it, my opponent shields before I can hit him with my B+Up. Is there a certain special thing you have to do, or does it just not work on some characters?

Any guesses of what my friends could have been seeing, or are they just crack heads?

I've heard stories from friends about Falcos going into Firebird, Canceling it and then going into a Phantasm. Is this complete BS or is there some fact behind this?
