    It is from Guardians of the Galaxy, Vin Diesel is going to play Groot. It is a Marvel IP. Groot was the only character from Guardians to be created by Stan Lee. So therefore, he is pretty much everyone's favorite.

    I haven't really been invested in the new Marvel movies (not a big comic book fan) but I might see Guardians of the Galaxy simply because of the crazy awesomeness that is Rocket Raccoon.

    Yes, I really hope that you do. People need to support the new Marvel IP, we definitely don't want it to be like DC where people only come for Batman or Superman (or in this case, the Avengers). Marvel does a great job of introducing characters, but the Guardians are largely unknown. So it is risky. The movie is probably going to be a great time though.

    Yeah, I saw that, it can be a tough community to get involved in. A lot of people berate one another for sharing different beliefs. I would urge you to give the site another chance, just stay away from cancerous threads such as the Ridley thread. There is a lot of cognitive decadence attributed to those places. But it was great meeting you nevertheless.

    Yeah, I'll take your advice. I'm a bit disappointed I got myself involved in that thread. I'll probably be dropping in and out here and there up until the game releases. For me, anticipation and posting ideas is a lot of fun, most of the time. I did it a ton with Brawl on the official NSider Forums. But anyways, nice meeting you too, it's good seeing people like you around here.

    Yeah, I know what you mean. I am pretty excited though, my sister had some homework to do, and I actually helped her do the entire thing. I don't even mind "school" work, but I hate it when there is a date attached and I start to procrastinate. Not really a good habit to get into though. Hope things start looking up for you though.

    I am current on the show; however, I have yet to read a Dance of Dragons. I have looked up spoilers though, so I am pretty much current. Haha.

    They're already starting to weave in elements from Feast and Dance into S4. But that's only to be expected.

    S4 has been pretty excellent thus far. The remaining four episodes will be adapting many iconic moments, so I'm very keen on what happens next. 8D

    I am actually a supporter of Ganondorf retaining the same move-set UNLESS they impute his move-set to a viable candidate such as Black Shadow (or possibly Hades). I also wouldn't mind Ganon, the beast form, to be the next playable Zelda character with a new innovative move-set while keeping Ganondorf predominately the same.

    I don't really believe Ganondorf will get a new move-set though, it just isn't extremely likely. Mewtwo getting a new move-set is much more logical. Sakurai will just change certain moves here and there. I expect 2 or 3, maybe 4 changes to his move-set. Nothing drastic. So in that way, I don't actually support a new move-set.

    Even though it doesn't happen constantly, it's persistent and it's more than enough for the film to be almost saying, "Hey, don't forget, you're watching a movie. Don't get immersed."

    It makes a mess out of an otherwise very simple linear story because in the midst of trying to determine what relevance that that whatever is going on at the time has to the big picture usually ends up being a wasted effort, so any theme or development the film is trying to accomplish goes out the window.

    There's a lot of things, most regarding the Direct, that I'd like to hear your opinion on. Mainly because your predicting the Phantom is a move is as close to prophetic as speculation could get XD

As you're one of the few people I've seen on the boards who still firmly believes that Ridley will be playable, I'd love to see some more feedback from you.     Though out of curiosity, what's your stance on the shadow we saw in the trailer? Do you believe that Sakurai had a newcomer hidden in plain sight, or do you think we saw a boss version of Ridley while there's still a playable one left to see?

    I definitively believe that Ridley is playable, not a boss. I am certain we would have seen a stage hazard on Pyrosphere if there was one (by now, anyways). It is certainly plausible that he is a boss and a character, but that sounds like an Alfonso moment to be honest.

    I agree, I find it very odd that we still haven't seen any sort of hazard on the Pyrosphere in all this time. And we've seen quite a bit of the Pyrosphere. What I've always wondered is, if the Pyrosphere had a hazard like Ridley on it, why is it used so frequently for pictures and footage? I suppose they could turn off the hazards via debug, but that seems like it would be an annoying thing to do every time.

    Squirtle was replaced by Greninja by a preponderance of the evidence. It is my belief that Blaziken wasn't selected over Greninja based on its type (Fire). So I highly doubt Squirtle will return without Ivysaur's return (especially as this Direct was supposed to clarify what happened to transformation character, I believe a solo trailer clarifies what happened). However, as you stated, it is certainly possible.

    That is irrelevant though, Pokemon Trainer is removed, that is all that I care about. One more returning wouldn't kill me, it was mostly the objectivity of their disdain, the mere notion that it was "3 characters in one". No one wanted to main them because of the poor mechanics.

    Seeing how much you pushed for Pkmn Trainer being cut, it's good to see you were right. Though I was surprised (albeit positively) that all transforming characters are separate.
    So many interesting things, but all anyone cares about...Ridley and all of the disconfirmed ATs.

I certainly don't want you to believe that I am trying to call you out. I just like logical arguments, and when fallacy enters the picture, no matter how insignificant, I tend to notice it.     To be honest, I never would've believed it either, the move seemed too clunky...however, seeing that isn't the case, along with the fact that Sheik and ZSS are finally their characters, is just the best case scenario. I actually hated Squirtle and Ivysaur in Brawl.

    That being said, I was clearly wrong. Apparently the Direct was a character reveal montage; I apologize for my overly pretentious perspective... in that regard. I am so happy that I was correct about these two things... why? Because everyone thought I was mad; everyone thought Pokemon Trainer would return; everyone thought Phantom was an assist trophy. Not me though. Suck it!

    Obviously the Direct is going to promote some new modes, maybe some stages while show-casing game-play and discussing certain innovations. The Direct will most likely contain a release date. Again, why spend 20-40 minutes discussing characters when their inclusions speak for themselves?

    I suppose some are laboring under the delusion that Smash doesn't need to market its material. It will automatically sell as long as Sakurai retains the hardcore fan-base by prematurely revealing excessive characters that the the mainstream audience doesn't necessarily care about. Sometimes, just sometimes, a game needs to change to appeal to the consumer.

    Lol... bad prediction is bad; that being said... I can't even believe their decision to release the 3DS version first, by a few months... with the same roster. That is just begging for the Wii U version; their console seller, to fail. Whatever, I suppose the 3DS will dominate the Smash 4 scene. Congratulations handheld gamers.
