My Dad still needs to lend me those damn Codex Alera books. Knowing my luck, he probably sent 'em away to my stepsister already. I'm probably going to have to go out and buy them if that's the case. Le sigh. I wish I still lived at home, man. If I did, I could be like "FATHER NOOOOOOOOOOO" before he hands off any books that he finishes.
That's really cool. Funny how coincidences work sometimes. Sadly, bullet mark four is the only thing that I can attest to (sans a wifey). I am one of the biggest nerds in existence. Reading, writing and roleplaying all dai. Occasionally working when I'M NOT SICK.
...well, I take that back. There is one nerdy correlation I can make. I DO live in Scientology Capital, USA (Clearwater, FL). ****ing L. Ron Hubbard. This isn't by design, of course, and it sure as hell ain't 'cause I have any love for the man.

only with spittle and gnashing teeth. The way it ended...I thought Butcher was seriously going to end the series right there. Changes' pacing was, like, optimized for that sort climax. Harry damn near made a devil's deal with the Unseelie to get out of some hairy (har har) ****, Susan died, Mouse talked (freaking talked), Harry's apartment went ka-boom, Karen took up one of the Swords, HARRY GOT FRAKKIN' SNIPED and much, much more (none of this necessarily in order).
I'm kinda relieved that it isn't ending, and I am so stoked about the next book. WHO IS ON THE BLACK COUNCIL?!
