  • rofl at you not saying stuff cause i will read it...

being that my bro plays fox, that thing with mk sounds interesting...
 people that john about mk usually aren't worth listening to...usually

    not always

    hi bill
you don't get enough experience in a bad region...reason #1 why pp doesn't win every tourney he goes to, he plays with us
having a strong region gets you respect...i mean winning idaho monthlies doesn't get you very much, even if weruop is good...
i mean i guess it boils down to personal gain over helping the community improve...@.@ whichever is more important to you really. doesn't matter i guess
wait you don't like playing friendlies when people aren't serious but you aren't serious with other people? man omni thats not cool :(
    pp doesn't friendly anyone lol.

sandbagging in friendlies is lame...i dont do it @.@ unless i just really don't feel like playing...you know
well alright. but once you're good don't pull a pp and refuse to friendly with anyone but lozr. i friendly with anyone who asks...but maybe thats just because not alot of people ask >.>

i think that's just them looking for excuses as to why they're not getting #1...and if they are getting #1 then thats just them being douches...lol
well thats why we have to play lots of people, to train them up. i mean i sucked when brawl first came out, i lost to chaos at styk's who I can beat easily and consistently now. its a matter of practice really, if you put effort into something then you'll excel in it...even people that aren't great now (like foxy for instance) can become really good if they put effort into it

instead of looking at the short term and only playing people better then you, you should try to get everyone up to your level so that everyone can be a challenge
oh hey... i forgot about florida @.@ i fail

yeah we just need to step it up and go oos more. if nc could get more practice in it'd be better but we just really dont practice enough
if you move out...move to hickory so I can come with you >.>

and if you go up to MD/VA ever try and get matches in with the good MKs they have up there...you'll learn more from them then you will playing all the crappy ones (mine included lol :() down here.

md/va is one of the weaker overall regions in brawl today, like they lose to nj/ny and socal and texas and michigan/ohio...but in melee they were dominant. they're still far better then nc though so yea travel up there whenever you can...thats how duo and mits got so good
i care about singles...just more about doubles...

idk about you but i think i can beat almost everyone on the bottom half of the pr's

just need to fix some things with my game and play more people...
who do you think is better at melee

    me or you?

i think we are pretty close in skill and so i have a challenge for you...

lets see who can make it onto the melee pr's the quickest...if you care about them at all...
Bro, Can you give me a ride to Duke if you go? I'll be in Raleigh but I'd need you to get me from my house it all.
im not sure what im doing the weekend of the 17th actually...
sundays are not good for me but are the only day that my bro can travel...
so ncsu might be an option as well...

i know for a fact that i can only attend one tourney that weekend...idk man.

if i do go to the duke bi weekly then teaming sounds fine...
i heard lozr is going so we would be fighting for second...
but if you and foxy go you should team...i dont want to get in the way of that...

i have a new found respect for you bro, i am not sure why really, but i didnt have it before...

keep it up, whatever it is...
drive 3 hours to hang out with the smash scene and stuff..enter the tourney with a secondary...its just for fun...i mean you can't honestly tell me you can't have fun at a tourney where you can't play metanight
Talk to Austin when he gets a phone. The RA's told us they screwed up and we couldn't have it saturday... he didn't just change it.
Not too say that the character boards don't have good info, it's just a lot of the best players won't give away their secrets for the whole world to see. If you ever get a chance to attend a large tournament find the best players for the character/match-ups you want to learn and either play or watch them.
For the most part the character boards are stupid. Things worth learning or talking about are best done with good players in person.
You won't find too many new ones lately. Your best bet are livestreams
