Different ZSS players have different preferences against different opponents. ZSS wil. probably try to use one piece, intelligently afraid of what will happen if Marth gets ahold of such a good projectile, especially with his broken glide toss.
The armor piece augment ZSS very well, but they do essentially the same for Marth.
That being said, walk toward your opponent and watch what your opponent does. Dtilt first, not fair. Dtilt is much less likely to get ***** by a retreated glidetoss forward (even though Fair MIGHT catch the piece). Watch your spacing, because throwing a piece down will cause it to bounce, and therefore it can still hit you.
Walk, shield, poke. If there is more than one piece on the board, poke until you get one, and play from there. Always throw first, not second, and don't always be predictable.
