. A lot of people say that there shouldn't be a LGL. Yet those same people would probably not attend a tournament were it not for the LGL. Is there a way to make a poll to determine how many people actually want a LGL?

It was just really cool, because this was my first tournament. I do admit, it had some bumps and stuff but it was a learning experience. With over 70 people in singles and almost 30 teams for doubles, I'm amazed this was a turnout for the first I've done X_X

I almost want to say that Iowa's scene doesn't care much about Brawl anymore minus a few people (me being one of them). I was actually going to try to get Iowa to go to WHOBO this year.

Well, it's a money john but also an Iowa not wanting to go anywhere john. T_T I know they're fun I just have to be more convincing. Take a look at my tournament in Tournament Listings, it's got a lot of people going!
If it keeps up, I could run a national at some point in the Midwest.
I was going to go to MLG Dallas, then Iowa baild which was really stupid. Other than that no not really, I went to No Koast v2 which was pretty big.
Other than that I'm the Ness mod that gives Shaky doubles advice.

7:45:-8:15 would be more convenient for me. I can do 10:30-11:00 if you are unable to make 7:45, however.

Very cool project, glad to see you doing it. Just the general meeting starts at 9, if the part about smash and golinharris isn't until later after your appointment (so around 9 30 or 9 45), would you be down for doing it? If not it's ok, I don't want to rush you or anything.
do you think you would be available tonight? i think you said you get out of class at 8 so I know it would be cutting it close. but yea, I can help you setup vent, it would only take a couple minutes

Is there anything on this site that talks about attacks that catch items and can be used again without throwing the item? If so, what is this tech called? I found a little trick today that allows you to throw your item while using these attacks.
I am most likely leaving a week early for WHOBO 3 to spend time with some family.

The huge borderline talent pool won't be near you though (Infern, me, Steel Samurai, Sneakytako, Kel [this one is debatable as a 'borderline', lol], Sai, Today). But I guess we'll see you at SiiS4.
It's nice that you'll be around the area at least! =D Jason will still be there, so will Shugo. NEOH also has some upcoming talent (solecalibur, King Beef, Suyon, Links) and some people who need instruction to bump their level up (Blue Rogue, who hasn't won anything in a while because everybody figured his patience out lol), so you won't be totally devoid of Smash fun =)

I was talking about characters with long grab animations like Olimar, link, ZSS etc.I tested this with rich brown.So is there anything written about this?
Is there anything written about buffered grabs? If you press the Z button at the right time after doing an attack, you will do a buffered grab(not timing it right or holding the button for too long will cause you to shield). You can even buffer dash grabs. This allows Diddy kong to have an advantage against characters with long grab animations. If Diddy kong GTs into the opponent's shield and the opponent tries to shield grab, the opponent will get grabbed first.
