  • The game definitely has my attention now, you should write that comparison blog.

I have to say, it looks good, but then again, a lot of things look good.
Nice. I recently found a few tracks of the music online; the creator put them up for free downloads. Pretty awesome.

Nice. I think I saw that poster when I was searching for my avatar. And yeah, if you think it sounds interesting, I'd say go for it. It is visually awesome, though the plot is weird. And yeah, it's probably not big enough to be in a Blockbuster. I don't know if it ever got out of the indie film scene over here when it came out, but I doubt it.
That's awesome! I assume for the movie. Posters for spices are probably not very exciting, whereas posters for trippy dream animes are much more interesting.
That he definitely did. But we seem to have moved sort of away from the timeline directly into other Hylian matters, though I'm sure we'll be back on the timeline soon enough.
Yeah, it's been crazy the past week+ or so. I've been spending the last day and a half mostly doing schoolwork and reading, and whenever I come back, there's at least one more page. And that's checking it regularly in there too.
Tales is really long, though there's a lot of extra stuff that is just there to be fun, or enhance relationships and such. Not sure how long, but I think I put like 40 hours into my first file. Though, if you hate leveling everyone up, then Tales might please you a lot. You can have up to 4 people go into battle, and you control one, while the others follow adjustable patterns. And you can have more in your party that you can switch between battles. but they all get experience, even the ones not battles. It's pretty convenient, so if you want to level up, it's everyone who benefits.

Edit: and that 40 hours was without ever owning the game; just on loan from a friend. I need my own copy. I wasn't done with everything.
It was my first iPod, and it was 3 1/2 years old. Since I consider that an impressive life for what it is, considering that it was pretty reliable for most of that, I was happy enough with it to go in for my new one.

When it comes to the Tales games, I've only played Symphonia; the Tales series is like Fire Emblem from what I've heard in that the games have little to nothing to do with each other directly. But it's pretty awesome. It's an RPG with real-time battles, though they happen in separate battles rather than just wandering on the overworld. The story is basically your generic small town boy and friends out on a journey to save the world. But the plot thickens in unexpected ways, and the story is really good. it's actually only predictable when it wants to be, for the most part. But the characters are all really good. Your party members are all interesting, and work together in interesting ways as characters. It came out on the GC, though I think it was ported to PS2. It's really good if you're into that sort of thing.
Sounds good. Of course, this past Christmas was lackluster for the Wii. The only game I considered was the Tales one, but I ended up hoarding the money my parents put aside towards getting me stuff and ended up replacing my iPod when it died within a week after Christmas. The only game I got was Soul Calibur Legends, and that was a joke gift from friends, since we're all Soul Calibur fans. I did buy Kingdom Hearts, and almost finished it over break though. Another day or two, and I would have done it.
Yeah, there's good stuff on the way. Just nothing I can get all that excited over. Compared to when I first got my Wii and DS, when I had Galaxy, Corruption, Mario Kart Wii, and Brawl to look forward to, as well as PH for my DS, what is there? Zelda rumors, whispers that Kirby Wii is actually real somewhere, and not too much else. It's probably for the better, since I've got enough to worry about without more games, but that's a lot less fun.
Well, we'll have to see how the remade version is. If it had that many problems, they'll probably have fixed some stuff.

It's funny, when it comes to games I want, it's really not any games that aren't out yet, besides unannounced games like Zelda, etc. Tales is out; I'm just waiting for the price to drop, since I'm cheap, and have too many unfinished games as it is. College really puts a cramp on finishing games. I've got Okami, Corruption, Kingdom Hearts, Link's Crossbow Training (lulz), Soul Calibur Legends (too many lulz, it's so bad), and probably more.
I do plan on getting the one coming for the DS, the remake of the first one with Marth. If I like it, I'll branch out, definitely. It's on the short list of games I need, right after Tales of Symphonia 2, Kingdom Hearts 2, and... there was something else.
Yeah, it's Japanese. My friend saw it somewhere. I think he's in the anime club at his school, not sure though. But yeah, he kind of forced it on me and another friend over break, and it was awesome. It's definitely worth it if you've got the opportunity. And yeah, it was the first animated movie I'd seen since... I don't even know. Wall-E?

Didn't know there was a Fire Emblem movie. I'm a terrible Marth main; I know nothing about his series except some characters.
It is a spice, and that is mentioned in the movie. In it, there are these psychologists who've come up with a device to observe people's dreams. One of them can enter these dreams via an alter ego, which is Paprika herself. It's really crazy, with all of the dream imagery.
The Link one (Yes, Link's Awakening, though the oracle games reused all the old sprites) is my avatar. The other is my profile picture. I didn't even know they were different until I changed to the Link one and still had her. Yes, it's a her. She's Paprika, from a crazy movie I saw last month before the semester started, also called Paprika.
Yeah, although you are in the same position they are, since there is not much proof. Also its hard to put in logic into the Zelda Universe, weird **** happens in it! xD

Oh, so who made the Manga? Is it official? :]
I see you trying to get proof of Sheik's gender. I guess you first have to look at the fact that nintendo also has a young audience. So, of course they would not reveal anything about sheiks gender, thats a little too deep.

It would do you no good to try to argue it, since you want the real proof. Magical things do happen in Zelda, for example having a garment that will let you breathe underwater, so transgender magic could be supported, but only slightly.

Honestly, you'll never know. I would rather keep the option of thinking that Sheik is a girl, but also acknowledging the fact that he/she may be a trap of some sort, and then reveals that she is actually Zelda. :]
what kind of topics? like race an religion? I think i can pretty much handle anything... i think...
