"Grueling?" I actually had FUN being alone against two opponents, I think that's where Sonic excels!

Gurgh... I'm not too proud of my tournament results... for one thing, I was expecting to come to a singles tourney, but instead it ended up being doubles, and then I had to find a last-minute partner, who like me was still playing and learning (but I was much farther than he was in terms of...let's say, match experience, but he actually has a life, so that explains it). Anyway I ended up doing pretty good, being able to carry my own weight, and some of his, and even though we got eliminated at the very first rounds... I always brought my opponents team down to 1 stock each in 2vs1 situations.

As for singles friendlies... I only got one with a Fox, and lost that because I messed up/didn't have as much matchup experience as I should've had, and I couldn't get anymore friendlies in because the TO was taking down the Wiis... Other than that, the only difference was 2vs2 battles were playable without the lag, and the 1vs1 battles are no different than Online if you can manage to get good connections.

I'm going to kick some butt next time I go because somebody guaranteed to me that next week will be singles, and I'll only have to worry about myself, and I'll at the very least get into the 2nd round.

I was at a in-person tourney yesterday, maybe that's why, I dunno.
