My favourite crossovers are the ones where they necromance some old character nobody cares about or ever has cared about for a cameo. It's nice to see that Mort the Chicken is still out there, albeit teaming up with a psychotic pizza chef instead of fighting geometric aliens - that's way more interesting than the Shovel Knight cinematic universe.

Every long-running game series is gonna have bad games eventually - yes, even Kirby. One of Kirby's first games ever was actually pretty rubbish - Kirby's Pinball Land: a really poor and frustrating (in the bad way) pinball game. A shame too, it came out after HAL's absolutely brilliant Revenge of the 'Gator so you'd think they would've remembered how to make a good tilt-less pinball game.

April fools aside, I never really got the "dumb"/"meme" reputation Crash gets in the context of Smash - maybe it's just that I come from the UK where Crash is a super-popular character, but to me he's as viable a gaming star as Mario or Sonic - he's a pretty goofy character and quite clearly a Western creation, but that also applies to Banjo in a lot of ways.

I doubt the ARMS character will get a proper trailer. The only DLCs to get original animation for their trailers were Banjo, Hero and Joker - the first two were introduced at E3 (big budget) and Sakurai has stated the latter's owners volunteered to animate a trailer.
