I finally took the time to watch both Rat Movies, they're great. Strange how I enjoyed them since I don't really enjoy Jerma's streams - but still, they're intentionally awful and nonsensical yet I still found myself being enthralled and thrilled like I would be watching a normal action movie.

Once I fought a forward air spamming Mario, I countered the move once and they stopped using it for the rest of the match.

Yes, I have low GSP. you occasionally encounter some insane stuff on Low GSP. at one point I fought 2 or 3 different players in a row playing Matt Miis.

I have mixed feelings on the "New Guy" meme - one one hand I agree with the original comic that PewDiePie is a jerk who really shouldn't be treated as a messiah, but I also agree with a lot of the memes that the New Guy is in the right in the context of the comic.

Amazon releases of TV shows aimed at children are ridiculous, like The Loud House debuted in 2016 - how can there already be 8 seasons? there aren't - they take 4 or 5 random episodes and call them a "season", it's pretty shady TBH and much worse than schedule clogging or dab jokes (not that those two things are particularly good either)

I unironically believe Bubsy would be a better choice than Byleth. let's go through the reasons:

-He inspires some sort of strong reaction other than a sigh and a quiet "god dammit"
-He represents three notable periods of gaming history: the mascot craze, the rough transition to 3D and the nostalgia boom, as opposed to representing just another instalment in a protagonist-swapping series that already has tons of Smash rep
-While his design isn't too unique, he is instantly recognisable among other characters of his kind
-He could have a stage that isn't just walk-offs that sometimes get hard to reach platforms

My best guess as to why there isn't a Rayman Mii costume is because of hitboxes. modifying hitboxes for the Rayman costume would be more trouble than it's worth for both, players and devs, and it's just bad game design to give hitboxes to the limbs of a character without them.
