Okay. You asked for it. First, I you need to familiarize yourself with the mechanics of the Hylian:
You really ought to read this thread in its entirety because it's essentially the Bible in terms of understanding desync mechanics: http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=287363
But I'll give you the TLDR: They Hylian MUST be done out of a Reverse Initial Dash, followed by a foxtrot that's either a reverse or forward initial dash that's frame perfect. In between those inputs you buffer a special (blizzard of IB) during a 10 frame window.
Now that leads to my desync (Lux Desync 1):

Those are all the videos.
The mechanics behind it are simple. During ANY sort of cool down period (this includes move cool down, shield drop, landing lag, run halt animation, dash halt animation, excluding spot dodge and roll) you can buffer a desync. This means that you can do a setup out of the cooldown of literally anything.
If you notice the video comparing FID LD1 & the Hylian, they look similar. The difference is that LD1 is actually 2 frames slower than a Hylian, but outside of those two frames one is done out of Forward Initial Dash and the other out of Reverse Initial Dash. It's actually Possible to do a LD1 out of RID, but the inputs required are border line insane (aka 3 frame perfect inputs in a 4 frame window). So for all intensive purposes, doing the Hylian is actually easier, believe it or not.
But LD1 is useful in that it can be done out of some many more options as I demonstrate in the other videos. It essentially revolutionized the way I look at desyncing and the metagame because it literally let's you play out of grab setup safely for entire matches, something that wasn't possible prior to finding it. Every other desync setup is either slow or aggressive in spacing, therefore unsafe.
At some point soon, I'm going to make a thread on my opinions on how the desync metagame should be played ideally. It's actually going to be "revolutionary" in that I expect every other climber is going to say, "That's wrong," just because it's different than the standard way of doing things. But the ideal system in my mind features LD1 as it's primary defensive option. It employs Hylian as a more neutral option.
