Last night on the @NintendoVS Twitter, it was announced that the Hero's time is drawing near! On July 30th at 6AM PT/ 9AM ET, Masahiro Sakurai himself will deliver the 22-minute presentation on the upcoming DLC Fighter.

The long-awaited Super Smash Bros. Melee invitational, Smash Summit 8, began on June 13th, 2019 and will continue until June 16th, 2019 in Los Angeles, California. The main draw of the event is that it features many famous players in both casual and competitive settings.

Full Boom 5 is right around the corner, the action starts on March 23rd, 2019 at Indiana University Bloomington and ends the following day on the 24th.

Smash Ultimate Summit is almost here, it’s set to begin on March 8th and continue to March 10th in Los Angeles, California. The event is a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate invitational featuring a mix of famous players who were all either invited, voted in or qualified at an earlier event.

2019’s Frostbite will take place in Detroit, Michigan, beginning on February 22nd and continuing to the 24th, and will feature singles and doubles brackets for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Rivals of Aether as the main events.

The first Nintendo Direct of 2019 is set to air tomorrow evening.

Smash Summit 7 is quickly approaching, it will occur from November 14th to the 18th taking place at the Summit Gaming House in Los Angeles, California and will feature not only the quality Super Smash Bros. Melee Singles we all love but also a variety of other events.

The Big House 8 is coming this October 5th-7th at the Cobo Center in Detroit, Michigan and will feature both singles and doubles for Super Smash Bros. 64, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Super Smash Bros. for Wii-U, in addition to those games it’ll also have a playable Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Demo in the venue.

It’s been a while since Dragalia Lost’s reveal this April, but a Nintendo Mobile Direct all about the upcoming role-playing game has been confirmed for this Wednesday, August 29th, at 8:30 PM PT/11:30 PM ET.

Viceroy Kicks, a brand running a Kickstarter for gaming-centric shoes, brought on two prominent names within the Smash community, Richard “Keitaro” King, Jr. and Tyrell “Nakat” Coleman, to help promote their brand by completing a challenge to win a pair of Viceroy Kicks for themselves.

The Showdown Battle Royale tournament series’ third iteration will run on July 14th and 15th at the Radisson Hotel in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Showdown Battle Royale has been one of the Midwest’s largest fighting game series since 2016, attracting competitors worldwide

This year’s CEO Fighting Game Championship is scheduled for June 29th-July 1st at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. Not only will it feature singles and doubles brackets for both Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, there will also be a playable Super Smash Bros. Ultimate demo at the venue’s Nintendo booth.
