Character reskins have always seemed like a strange- okay yeah no I did this joke yesterday.
But I do have a funny idea of how to do a "quantity over quality" fighting game... well, I think Triple Wa proposed a concept similar to this in the past, but in this one you have a choice of a bunch of different archetypes/movesets, but this time can be applied to literally every character, everyone is basically an echo.
The only real differentiating traits between the actual characters are things like... well, how they look & their voicelines obviously, and how they perform the actual attacks are recontextulized in a way that's still kinda believable and true to their original character. Like "oh wow I never imagined Ryu as a big body grappler but yeah this makes sense actually."
