Uhm i believe the host always gets port 1, and the other player always gets 2 and so on. It doesn't matter what actual port your controller is plugged in.

Wow, thats a stupid thing for brawl to have in it. But im always hostin the room vs a snake then from now on whether or not im using marth. Thats just....31 completely new flavors of ghey.

Snake is absolutely ridiculous, especially on Wifi.
Seriously I only play as snake with my feet and I do quite well.
The other day I played an unbeatable snake and after getting sick of cycling through my characters, I decided to try out a ditto.
Sadly I almost beat him...
Even with sheilding being next to impossible, also trying to recover with your feet is a huge b****. All I needed to put up a decent fight was spam tilts and walk with occasional nades.
Lesson of the day, Snake is unbalanced as hell.
Note don't have anyone in the area to play with. All my friends suck badly, so Wifi is my only option.

Lol, i played a random falco guy on AiB yesterday and he seems to be under the impression that if done right, marth cant do anything against a lazer campy falco. XD All in favor of labeling this theory epic fail say "NO U"!
Random thought: For those marthers here who have access to the texture h4x i think we should hold a small competition to see who can produce the most rad (yes i used a word from the 70's) marth. The winner gets a cookie of course.

I've played campy falcos on AiB also they're annoying but not too difficult. It's more frustating than anything because when you close in they either phantasm to the other side of the stage or use their down B.

Once you are past his lasers it is easy, but getting past them can sometimes be quite annoying and he can always Phantasm again.

Lol no, his name was Ny(something i forgot the rest). Needless to say once i won the match the "my char sux on wifi" johns did commence. Luckily tho i main marth and there is no dispute as to the unplayableness of him on wifi. However, there was this guy at a tournament a month ago who everyone called "no-name falco."
