Am I the only person that actually enjoys camping?

Whenever I hear people complain about Brawl, one of the main complaints seems to be 'it involves too much camping'. But the thing is, I don't actually think that camping is that bad. On the contrary, I quite enjoy it. I don't know why I liek it exactly; I just do. Any match that doesn't involve any camping just feels a bit empty to me.

So, does anyone else find camping fun?

having to keep a constant flow of 3 projectiles going is complicated >.>
IDK sometimes I find it entertaining, depends on the character.
I find falco really boring to camp with,
yet ROB and TL I find enjoyable to camp with.

I don't like to camp, it slows the game down too much for me even as ToonLink :/ Although I main a character that can't camp anyway.

meh camping just seems like a really cheap way to play especially when you do it to characters that can't do much about it. Like ike

I actually find Falco really fun to camp with and Rob really boring, but it is fun to camp with Tink.:chuckle: I enjoy playing campy characters for fun but I can't camp well with most characters so I play characters with bad or no projectiles like GaW or MK.

I'm only saying I'm bored of camping with falco because I just got bored with him, I didn't feel rewarded when all I did was CG and camp...
so yeah

Camping is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too boring for me. I never really like sitting back and waiting, I want to kill them NOW. Camping gives a different feel of control over the opponent. Instead of annoying them to death, I prefer to strike fear into them by being close enough to make them wonder what I'll do.

well, i usually charge in and go on the offense, but camping is ok when the situation favors it. My mindset is usually play to win, so i would camp when necessary. I dont find it too much fun though

I've nearly quit a match because of some D3 camping me. He ran the timer in each match. Fortunately I had won.

Waddle Dee Spam is made up of all kinds of win. Throw some Dees, then beat the heck out of them. And if they don't like it.....CHAINGRAB!

And you don't need to word it else I understood what you ment the first time....
this is just a matter of opinion, you think it's hard I think it's easy.

I never said hard I said complicated >.> wow.
of course it's easy but setting **** up in the process while keeping your opponent from approaching you, not hurting yourself, and leaving no margin of error can become a little more complicated at high levels of play.

SHDL is almost like second nature when you get the hang of it.

Since I main Falco, I'm used to half-camping. I mean I'll camp to keep distance, but punish when my opponent comes towards me. Usually by an aerial approach, shield grab into a CG.

I don't hate camping and I don't think that many other people do its just really boring to watch if your not the one playing.

Of course Camping is to be expected when nearly everone and their brother is capable of doing, some of them physically designed for it! People wouldn't be playing most of these if they didn't have fun camping. It's pretty dang near impossible to avoid camping atleast once, and that feeling of basic complete control over your enemy feels pretty sweet.

Personally, I do think it's boring when a pair of any enemy in the game just sit on oposite sides of the arena, throwing projectiles or using aerial camping for the entire frigging match, unless they can make it epically awesomesauce clashing in the air or still striking eachother with the projectiles. But some Camping is expected atleast one time in a match.
