The internet at the venue can MORE than handle it. It could probably support up to 10 streams lol. We also have a clean schedule that works nicely with all three streams. I hope we can announce it soonish, just have to nail out the final kinks in it.

Yea most universities have amazing internet. I used to work at Drexel's IT department and I could connect directly via cable into our servers located in the building I worked in. I've never experienced faster internet in my life lol.

I'll just say this about the 3 streams. It is so that we can push more matches on all ends. The people will be making sure everyone gets what they want...FGC/Smash/Pokemon...everything will be streamed one way or another. It will be an event like no other.


I know you guys think FGC is bad at times but it does something great for us overall...Press...the more press Apex has = more exposure for Smash. We will be covered by new/gaming sites from all over the world and that is what Apex is...its an event where ONLY the world's best can do well. Also, TBH, some of them actually enjoyed it...

Trust me I would not have brought it back if I did not think I can make it work...plus with the new stuff we are doing it will be perfect...especially who we are working with.

Apex will always be THE smash tournament but now it is going to be THE tournament for everyone. So regardless of what you play you will be treated with the same respect as everyone else. We have Chibo to stream just so Smash gets even MORE matches so do not think we are disregarding everyone. This is a natural progression to creating a bigger and more publicized event.

1 Smash Stream is fine too, but pls dont cross FGC/Smash again, that **** was HORRIBLE from a spectators point of view
It took almost ALL the hype from the people watching @ home, srsly.

Oh and doing nearly DOUBLES ONLY on Friday (Or was it saturday? I dont remember) also wasnt a good idea either, you shouldve showed more of the "Interesting MMs / Match-Ups you never saw" stuff, no one cares for Doubles (Except maybe the WF, LF and GF(s), you can believe me on this Alex, but I think you probably already know that by yourself :3)

Why is the fgc community back? Last apex turned into a fgc first tournrey, all they did was *****, and sapped valuable floor space and to focus from smash.

I didn't sap valuable floor space nor did I deter anyone from focusing on smash

With the way tournaments usually run, I wouldn't be surprised.

This includes a better layout that will incorporate more room for Smash setups and players (including friendly setups), a better schedule to get events done quicker, and a much better stream setup so there is always Smash and FGC to be watched concurrently.
