There's no gameplay differences between the American and Japanese version of brawl.

Stop posting crap like "Marth's fair *seems* slower".
Especially stop posting if you have a terrible eye for things.

You can netplay between the two versions.

That is all.

Only an idiot would ever think that the game play can change between two versions of the game, The only difference is that the game has been modified to suit our language preference, and to suit our online preferences.

Can I remind you of the different Melee versions? There were gameplay changes between the Japanese, American and European versions of the game, so it's not impossible. Next time do your research before you start calling everyone an idiot.

The credit of this post goes all to the users Surgo and Xenesis:

Surgo: "The games can be compatible online while having glitches fixed. This must be the third time I've posted this...

In the Japanese version of Pokemon Diamond & Pearl, if you are holding a choice band (or other choice item) and kill a pokemon that switches out against you with Pursuit, you can change your move. This "glitch" does not exist in the American version, but you can still play with the Japanese versions online. This is where my memory gets fuzzy, but if I recall correctly both games will behave in their own way when playing online (so the Japanese player has the advantage)."

Xenesis reply: "That's incorrect. The rules of the US version take priority over the Japanese version. That being said, if two Jpn versions are playing then it works like the Jpn version."

That being said, it's possible that something like this can happen in Brawl, with the US version taking priority over the Japanese one, so there is no need for you to be sarcastic.. I have no idea if there are differences between the different versions of Brawl, I'm discussing the possibilities. And Demon_machinE, a little politeness goes a long way you know? If you have nothing to discuss, then please just shut up.

No Internet?!?
In the PAL Version of Brawl, Jigglypuff's Rest has 3 times the range of her body, half the lagging time and it's a one-shot kill from any percentage.

Prepare to lose online, suckers.

Real men use the Wiimote.

Because that way, real men can smash-attack AND hit their opponent in their face at the same time. As they lose the battle. Truly a feat.

anyone who plays it will feel that everyone is slower. the game feels slower at the start.
if you had played the japanese one, and then compared it to japanese videos, you might wonder what they are doing to make it faster.
simple answer : they're better at brawl than you.
