It's that time again, guys, and this time it's an unexpected one - Kirby merchandise news!

San-ei has just announced another Kirby event in association with Kiddy Land (a toy store in Japan), this time titled "Kirby's Dream Land Candy Store". It hasn't been that long since the previous one ended, so this one caught me off-guard!

They've put up an image showing the merchandise that will be available there. Some of this we've seen before, most of it we haven't.

Row by row;

The clothing at the top-left is the standard edition of the earlier Tokyo Game Show limited edition versions, which were made in a limited run of different colours to these. The event-exclusive Kirby keychain-plush from last time also returns.

We also see that the huge Kirby, Waddle Dee, and Meta Knight cushions will be available to buy early at the event. We're also now introduced to some clips featuring Kirby, which are similar to some of the ones produced for San-ei's Super Mario Bros. 30th Anniversary line, and two sets of coasters, the first featuring Kirby and a Maxim Tomato, and the second set featuring Waddle Dee and Meta Knight.

Finally, we see two spiral-bound books, and two sets of magnets, the first dedicated to the animal-hat Waddle Dees from the previous event in a pyrography (burnt-wood) style, and the second featuring Dedede, Kirby, and Waddle Dee in the style of iced cookies.

This marks the first time that Dedede has appeared in any of this event-related merchandise, and you can bet that I'm happy about that.

It's also worth noting that some additional merchandise, from clear file-folders to souvenir drink glasses, is shown on Kiddy Land's website's page for this event, and that one of these items is a melamine cup primarily featuring different Waddle Dees, along with single images of Kirby and a Waddle Doo. One of these Waddle Dees is Bandana Waddle Dee, also marking the first time that he's appeared on any of this event merchandise, too!

In other Kirby merchandise news, AmiAmi is again taking pre-orders for all of the previously-sold-out keychain-plushes;

Xeno: Strange, foreign, mysterious... I think that kinda describes me. I am a mysterious person really. That and I love Xenoblade Chronicles.

I'm also still kinda annoyed that America got ORAS a week before the UK. Granted, a week is almost nothing, but avoiding spoilers of a game you really want to play is really difficult. It's similar to Rainbow Curse. That had a large gap in release dates. America: Feb 20th 2015. UK: May 8th 2015. Honestly, I'd prefer a worldwide unified release date for a longer wait. Especially if it's a big game (I mean, Pokemon X & Y had a unified release, why not ORAS?). That is one of the things that bugs me about Nintendo.

GUYS I'M FINALLY HEADING OFF TO MY TOURNAMENT

Unfortunately there's no plans for a stream but if things go by well I'll be sure to link it! I'll be taking pics and hopefully they'll upload replays from the tournament for you guys to watch. They have Melee, 64 and Project M friendlies so I'm stoked for that too! I'll be sure to do my very best, this is gonna be a long tourney but I'm gonna be sure to keep my head up and have a good time.

So peace out guys, love y'all. I've decided to use Kirby again in case I run into a Sheik, so I'll be repping the whole Dream Land crew!

Eventually when it came the moment to add the number I just used the month and year of my birthday

How come there are Drifloon emotes anyway? I don't hate the Pokemon, (au contraire, I think it's one of the cuter Gen 4 Pokemon) but it seems odd that there are 10 Drifloon emotes but no emotes for post Gen 2 Pokemon except Drifloon.
