With the recent fear of spammers, and projectile campers, I had a question that might interest Ness and Lucas players. Now, I know in Melee, if you had more percent and your opponent wasn't coming to hit you, you were in some ways obliged to make the move, because of the time factor. This is the concept that fundamentally drives spammers. They put damage on you and you are forced to go in for the attack since you have percent and they dont.
Now, if Ness or Lucas are absorbing first thing in the game, and a wolf or laser spammer hits you and you absorb, who is technically in the lead? I was interested to the answer of this question in Melee. In my opinion, it should go to the Ness/Lucas, since the Campers are being lame, and they (N/L) are technically at negative percents.
Also, I still do not see why people dont think short hopping and air dodging is a feasible approach to campers (setting X or Y as your shield/grab to do it quickly).
