Might be better advertising it in the tourney section. Though, it's ffa, so it's not that competitive.

It is not competitive because it doesn't follow usual tournament rules. And FFA at its core is not competitive. 3 players can team against one player, it is a one match elimination, and a pre-selected stage for the match will harm certain characters and benefit others. I'm pretty sure you didn't even ban stage.

thanks for the tips. However i dont see likely people teaming up to someone cause only the two 1st and second place will pass to the other round. And isnt a 5 min match enough?

And well about the stage im planning on picking the more basic stage of them all. But have to play brawl before picking it.

Please answer to the other questions... This is the first time i do a brawl tournament so if those things are wrong i will change it.. Just give me some ideas ;) and thanks again

btw i was thinking of making the round 4 a 1 v 1, that would make it a little more competitive....

On the main Smash World Forums page, if you look just below the first category you will see a category called 'Smash Tournaments'. There, you will find the basic guidelines and other things you will need to help you set up a good tournament. :)

Also, in the future please try and avoid double and triple posting in an effort to raise a topic higher where people will see it. Better safer that I tell you this now, before a Moderator gets on to you. :)

thanks komatsu... I actually went there and tried to figured out, but i didnt really understand what exactly was said. However, can u give me some tips on how to improve the tournament? I recently updated it making round 4 (which was suppossed to be) a 1v1... And i was thinking of doing 3 matches of 5 min, would that help?

yeah it is online. And is not split region wise. Most if not all of the people joining are most likelly in America...

HOWEVER, if there seems to be a little lag from let's say Canada to US we will try to organize everything so there is the less lag possible. Even though i personally dont think it will lag from Canada to US
