Catching Galleom?

Well, after catching Petey, Rayquaza, and Duon, I thought I'd go get the seemingly easiest-to-catch-at-this-point boss, which is Galleom.

But When I fight him in the Ruined Hall (The area in SSE where PT and Lucas have to fight him, underground), (I go there just because all I have to fight is him, nothing to deal with beforehand.)

But even if Im in there with my 4 guys that have trophy drop chance stickers on (Big Boss, and the other 3 I have.) and have the difficulty set to hard (Trophy stands drop alot for me on hard, caught the other 3 this way) the trophy stands just wont drop.

DO I have to fight him where you originally fight him in SSE? Is thats whats wrong? (Where was that by the way? Ive forgotten)

Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

I caught him in the ruined hall just about 2 hours ago so it's definitely possible.

I was on intense with no stickers if that helps...

I'm trying to get Rayquaza, but the trophy stand either drops way to early, or never drops at all, so I don't really think you should expect it to be easy. By the way, if you get a trophy of a boss and then have to complete a stage, can you just go back to the map and keep the trophy, or do you have to finish the stage?

Well for one thing, he doesn't even appear in the other level that you first fought him in (which was the first of the two 'Wilds' levels). The only place to catch him after a second run-through is the Ruined Hall.

What I did to get Galleom was play on Hard difficulty and put three characters with the Big Boss sticker on my squad. It was no problem since those three characters had projectiles to use after getting the trophy stand.

PS: I used a Big Boss sticker for Fox, Falco, and Wolf.

You just have to wait. They'll show up; that's where I got my Galleom trophy.

i did it on easy with just one char with big boss sticker. it doesnt matter what difficulty you do it, since its the start of the level just do it on easy, gives you more time until (hopefully) a stand comes

I got him on the Ruined Hall w/ Stickers and Intense difficulty. Bump the difficulty up to Very Hard if you can manage it. You can do what 1337 said if you want, but I don't know how long it would take for a trophy stand to appear on Easy.

I played as R.O.B. in the Ruined Hall on Easy and the Trophy Stand just appeared within several seconds of the fight.

I must be lucky. No stickers either.

But I wouldn't recommend such a strategy. Stick a Big Boss sticker on your best character or characters, bump up the difficulty to Hard or Very Hard, and hope for the best.

Just keep at it. Determination is a key player in boss trophies.

Galleom was the first Boss Trophy I got. I got him in the Ruined Hall area with no stickers, but it took hours for a trophy stand to finally drop, despite fighting on Intense.

I was able to get all boss trophies ( and almost all regular trophies) in just a few hours by playing Intense with all 4 characters having big boss stickers (all 6 for tabuu). I sticker farmed until I had the six big boss stickers I would want to use for trophy stand drops. If you do it this way, you will generally get at least two trophy stands per boss battle. It was even easy to get meta ridley this way.

Maybe you have to raise the difficulty level.

Try fighting Galleom on Very Hard difficulty.

Well you can put it on an easier setting, get his damage down and then just dodge his attacks until you get the trophy stand. Lowering the difficulty will help you wait out the time to get the stand, but makes them rarer. A harder difficulty will make the stands appear more frequently, but you might die before you get the chance to use it or die waiting for it. I got every boss trophy on hard mode with stickers (Big Boss on everyone except Marth, he had Cortimer which is +22 or so).

Just wait it out really its not too difficult. Just for the record, Galleom is cake compared to Meta Ridley and his horrendously difficult level (on harder settings) and time limit for the battle.

I've never seen a trophy stand appear in a boss fight. I was starting to think that they scrapped the idea of catching bosses.
