The character specific sections are dIseased. They`ve been infected with Character hate threads. I`ve sat idoly by while all of this hate has been spewed. Not anymore.
We need too do something about this, i don`t think char hate threads should be allowed, period.
Char specific sections are for discussion about a char with other people interested in getting better/learning about that char.
Char hate threads do the following.
1. They directly/indirectly insult the char community.
2. They piss people off.
3. They have a negative impact on the morale of the people trying too get good, hindering progress on the char itself.
4. They dont even make any locational sense. Wtf with sharing with the chars community why you hate thier char they`re working on.
5. They attract other haters who shouldnt be in that section too insult that community in the first place.
Etc
They`re popping up so much that i`m even considering it an annoying form of harrasment on the people who are trying too get better while these guys say they suck more or less for trying too improve with a char.
Arn`t you people sick and tired of this morale killing sickness? Arn`t you sick of seeing all this negativity. Don`t you want your char specifics too be filled with positive constructive thinking instead of players second guessing themselves/feeling bad about the char they choose?
I can understand having trouble with a char, i can understand needing char advice while expressing frustration. Because that leads too people lending advice and help so you can improve overall.
But blunt hate leads too nothing but irritation and annoyance.
I think we need too do more than sugarcoat our displeasure about this or ignore it, we need too stop it. And to be clear that we want these haters gone.
Because, and i`ll say it again, this negativity HAS affected the community, and it HAS affected the progress on chars in general.
We need too get down too the grit and stop this.
