What type of controller does everyone use for their emulator play? And what settings do you keep it at?
I use a PlayStation 3 controller with a range of 60 and a deadzone of ten... I still often find it difficult to use Pikachu's uair without jumping too, and I can't do shorthopped uairs.

At first I used an Xbox 360 controller with settings of Range = 80% and Deadzone of 5 - 10.
Also "real N64 range" is unchecked.

I just recently got my N64 to USB adapter working and now I use N64 controller. I kept the above settings and it works great.

They're not registering at all in the controls setup of your emulator?

Maybe something wrong with your adapter, or that specific controller. If you can try it with another controller, do that and see how it goes. Very weird issue and I realize it must be pretty frustrating

Mixtizo.. if you can't seem to configure your controller like that and wondering what kind of deadzone etc you should have i suggest you stick with console.

I'm not anticipating another thread like asking why your input has delay when playing online (after you setted up your controller)

How'd you finally get it working?
Just thought others who might have the same issue could do whatever you did.

Also, if you have P2P set up, let us know your MSN or something. Then I can challenge you to a few matches haha...

got my adapter, and calibrated the joystick so I can finally run and smash now, but the C-Buttons don't work when I'm on PJ64K. WTF!!!!

It's under: USB GamePad (16 -Button, Joystick is x and y axis, C-Buttons are z axis)
It won't configure on PJ64K, because it doesn't register it as a button.

Was this ever answered?

Mikeloya?

(I already gave Mixtizo a pm)

I no longer have an adaptor, it got smashed while i was fighting with my woman LOL.

Meh I'm just gonna order another magic joy box. 3 in 1 for 20$ is just too good.

Congrats on anyone with a working n64 adaptor. Im never wasting my time with this ****.

1. You have to order it
2. It probably wont work, and then you need a thread like this one
3. You have to find an n64 controller that will work with it.
4. N64 sticks get loose in a few months, or even weeks if you play a highly technical game and play often.

f*** that seriously. Ill just do what I can online with a ps2 or gamecube controller and leave the n64 controller to console godliness.
