If Cello were to ever pull the curtains back after a con that long, the explanation would come in the form of a full sized book and would eventually be published as a young adult thriller, new york times best seller.

Stage length and blast zones are all the same. There are three major archetypes of omega variant and 2 (I think it's just two) unique lay-outs in the form of Magicant and Arena Ferox. You could lump them all into one and make it so that the player who is counter picking gets to select which version of FD you play on, but never EVER should a player have to ban multiple FDs in a game that is already mostly long flat stages.I'm pretty sure the blast zones vary on each of the omegas and then some of them have walls and others don't which is a big deal for wall jumping characters.
This seems like the main case to me when some grab infinite or CG exists.cause fd is like, the least neutral stage ever.
i wouldn't know man, i came here waaaaay after he was here. point is, (since some people are missin' it), is that alts are pretty dumb.If Cello were to ever pull the curtains back after a con that long, the explanation would come in the form of a full sized book and would eventually be published as a young adult thriller, new york times best seller.
I don't know if you've ever tried to play a character with slightly above average or worse air mobility against Greninja or ZSS on FD, but it's not ****ing fun. Lack of platforms mean that for a lot of characters, the only choice they have is to flee to the edge and do you know how bad of a position that is?Not so much in other MUs, it's really not that polar in Smash 4 compared to any other smash iteration imo.
I still think none of this is as warping as what happens in Melee, and I've gotten used to it due to a lot of for glory. Smash 4 in a way seemed to have been made to care for this mode as well.I don't know if you've ever tried to play a character with slightly above average or worse air mobility against Greninja or ZSS on FD, but it's not ****ing fun. Melee is the only Smash game where it should be a neutral and only because the melee community neutered the stage list.
Read the opening post of the mini queue thread and join that game. Mini queue games are designed to help newer players get into mafia, so if you have any questions, players (and the moderator of) that game will be more than willing to answer them. The easiest way to learn how to play mafia is to just play a game. It will become clear after a game or two, especially if you're asking questions while you're playing. How do mafia games work?

Thanks guys!In all seriousness check out the mini queue thread!
I lump Omegas in under FD. If you ban FD that counts as banning Omegas. If you CP FD you can pick an Omega form.why is omega not allowed and why is final destination a counter?
Blast zones don't vary as far as I can tell. Walls is what matters, though.I'm pretty sure the blast zones vary on each of the omegas and then some of them have walls and others don't which is a big deal for wall jumping characters.
A stage is polarizing if it is frequently the 'worst stage' for a character in many different match-ups.i guess i am newb and will need the "polarizing" thing explained
Good post. Here's a list of practical paths to take for the community. I don't agree with everything I'm about to say. A lot of these talking points spring from differing attitudes expressed to me by other people, individually, in private.

Description: You are a stubborn sponge. You are usually quite the bubbly spirit of Dgames, but sometimes when someone gets you into that 'mode', you huddle up into a pose of no return whatsoever. Taking candy from a baby? Not beneath you in this mood. Stealing votes and applying them to rig an election? Not beneath you in this mood. No sexy times for your partner? Not beneath you in this mood. -- Dgames Disco Upick
Something like everyone having aIn the same vein as the way we have our smash mains under our profile pictures, some sort of basic information might be great to have on hand. Imagine something like:
Not at all. I added an introduction thread to ZSS boards (which was more personal-aimed rather than a mafia profile) and people happily posted there. The only problem I see with the "who's who" thing is that it'll just make people feel like more on the outside. They see a thread with a bunch of profiles about us, and they're all "oh ****, look at these guys. Clearly they've got their own thing going on, and I'm not a part of it." or "can I still join games even if I don't have one of those profiles? Am I supposed to be here, or is this board just for these guys?"
Then you have 7 man games competing with normal sized games and splitting sign-ups for basic games.Probably wouldn't advocate it being 12 player. 7 player is perfectly fine imo. Otherwise I agree.
