Do you feel tripping isn't a problem for Wario?

Considering that Wario mainly relies on aeriel movement for approaching (maybe the occasional bike for some projectiles), tripping wouldn't seem as such a big deal for him. You still need to be grounded for shielding and fsmashes but you usually go right back into the air afterwards. Still, have any of you experienced any bad tripping moments with wario?

Tripping is bad for every character, even Wario. If I need to dash to do a follow up or to help pressure my opponent, the last thing I want is for my character to fall on his a** and stop right there on the spot. :)

hmm, perhaps I should rephrase this. Do you feel that in terms of probability of tripping, does Wario have an advantage over other characters due do his general playstyle?

I think that he does have an advantage over characters that rely on the dash more than he does, but the advantage is pretty insignificant IMO. It certainly would not be worth it to pick Wario solely because he might have a lower chance of tripping lol.

I like it because it gets me a chance to yell "Get up attack!"
In all actuality, tripping isnt too much of a concern with me, only when following up on combo's will it irk me.
Nothing more frustrating than a double dair into a trip that was meant to be a follow up.

oh, Wario's always been my main after playing the game for a bit. I was just curious if there were any more subtle advantages he might posess. Thanks for the answers.

I wasn't directing it towards you, I was just saying that to kinda show the difference between that advantage Wario has and the advantage you might get from a IC Chain Grab or Snake's Ftilt lol. :)

Wario doesn't have many subtle advantages; most of them are blatantly shown.

I'm nearly always in the air, but when I trip its no good for Wario since it hampers his already meh ground game. I get so mad whenever I fthrow and try and pursuit just to find Wario on the floor. This question is kind of rhetorical though.

hmm. I guess this question does seem a bit pointless. Well, I'm still new to these boards anyway, I'll learn eventually.

It's a fine question to ask, don't be discouraged!

While Wario doesn't trip as often, when he does, it's usually an important time, since he makes his limited ground time count. That's what I find to be the case, anyhow.

Bwahaha, Wario, squirtle and Jigglypuff are indeed the most anti-trip characters in the game. Now I know why Sakurai put it in the game, to buff Wario.

I guess he's not so bad after all (Sakurai that is).
