Okay...today we got the news that brawl is delayed til march 9...FOR THE US!!!!

Poor Japan still gets a delay too, but it's only ONE WEEK! Why is that? ONE week delay for them? And a WHOLE month for us??

What's up with that?

The updates are ALL in both languages, it's obviously nearly complete in both languages.

If translation is why there is a delay, then that's stupid. Kinda hard to translate the "Oh, ouch! uh" all the gutteral noises caused when hit or attacked. Do they have to translate all the noises or something? I just don't get how we get a delay that's one month, and japan gets a one week delay. Something odd about that



We already had to wait longer than them, now we wait like 2 months longer!

There is actually going to be VA instead of just grunting noises. Pokémon Trainer for example.

There is numerous reasons for the delay and large gaps in regional releases.

I know it won't happen, but imagine with me, if you will, an exclusive character for the American release.

by the time the game comes out in japan whether we have been trying to avoid spoilers or not i guarantee you there will not be any surprises left by the time we get the game -.-
it will all be revealed whether we like it or not. i cant just stay off the internet for 2 months so this is gonna suck

The Game was delayed in the US because Sakurai's quotes needed to be worked into the game.
"Up until now, you've been waiting. But now, Sonic has been unlocked!"

Also, Jigglypuff was glitched. It's Sing attack didn't make characters fall asleep, it did far too much damage. In fact, it was OVER 9000!

They're working on a few bugs with the Japanese release, leading to a one week delay.
They're working on a few bugs and the localization of the US release, leading to a one month delay. This would be the logical response.
