Double clicking?

Hey guys,

No idea what happened, but recently using the wii controllers w/ nunchuck or classic controllers has started having an issue. It now double clicks quite often. For example if you jump, sometimes it will do a double jump immediately (wasting one of your jumps) or choose a character outfit, pressing the button to change colors will change way too quickly. Trying to run and your character will stop running as if you clicked the move button again.
Virtually any button you press will double click (but not every single time, just about 60% of the time), almost like you have turbo turned on or something (turbo as in the controller setting).
I'm using regular wii-motes and nun-chucks. I can't test with gamecube controllers because my Wii is one of the newer ones without GC ports.

Hope you guys have an idea of how to fix this, thanks in advance!

Have you confirmed that this only happens on Project M? Go ahead and give it a try on another game. I know it's incredibly unlikely that your Wiimote w/ Nunchuck and Classic controllers would start crapping out at the same time, but it's always good to rule out.

Oops, sorry that was something I forgot to mention. This is only happening with Project M, no other games are experiencing the issue.

And I've tried 3 different wii motes w/ and w/out the classic controller combination (with nunchuck and with classic). One of those 3 wii motes was just purchased about 2 weeks ago.

The only thing I can think of is that something in your Project M install got corrupted for some reason. Have you tried wiping your SD and re-installing it from scratch?

No, I was posting here first hoping I could avoid that and that someone else here had experienced the same issue first.
I'll give that a try though

Well I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who's experiencing this. Was hoping for an easy resolution without having to uninstall/reinstall P:M. Ha

An update, I finally got around to reinstalling it. It seems to have worked (I still seem to run into the issue, but it's extremely rare now, so far atleast)
