Double shine off stage

Why can fox do this but falco can't? Or am I just too scrub to do it? I've never seen it and I can't figure out how to do it myself. IDGAF if it is impractical I want to double shine off stage and if anyone can give me insight on whether or not it is possible and why and if it is possible how to do it then u would be a ****ing god

You just need to conserve your jumps, the whole deal with double shining is that you jump out of shine and then shine again real fast. You won't be able to do a true double shine where you stay in place as you need to be on the ground to do this, but you should be able to sort of get it.

However I don't see this being very useful, and it's also probably pretty risky.

Once you use your double jump to cancel the first shine, you won't be able to cancel the second and you'll get no followups off of it, and it'll let your opponent get back to the stage and possibly even kill you.

Why do that when you could shine-turnaround bair or shine-dair? Use doubleshine off the top on battlefield or yoshi's against floaties.
