I cant get them down and I know they are necassary. Especially me because im a DK use and its the few quick attacks he has. whenever I try to do it I always end up either Jumping (Utilt) or performing a Donkey Clap (FSmash) leaving me vulnerable and I have lost quite a few matches because of these stupid mistakes.

anyways to practice them?

If you don't push the stick all the way to the edge of the socket, you'll do a Tilt instead of a Smash. It's pretty much the most reliable way to do it that I know of.

if u go to the custom controls you can take off the option to jump when pressing up, it works perfectly as long as you use the x and y buttons to jump

as for the forward tilt i cant help much

you can go to controls and set the c-stick to "attacks" and it will do your forward tilts for you, which i have found to be amazing... if wavebouncing isnt that beg a deal to you that is.

I've recently found a way to do easy F-tilts. Just hold your joystick slightly down, inbetween forward and crouch. You won't run, but when you attack, you'll do F-tilts. Up tilts work the same way. Hold the joystick at an angle, inbetween up and forward. (diagonal, i guess is a proper term), and you'll U-tilt every time.

Hope that helps!
