Eight Pros, One Champion: PAX Arena at PAX East

While PAX East 2017 won't be hosting an official open-bracket Smash tournament this year, fans will still have something to look forward to in the form of PAX Arena at PAX East.

Organized by Twitch, PAX Arena at PAX East is an eight-man Super Smash Bros. for Wii U invitational happening on the last day of the convention, March 12. It will feature players local to PAX East's host region of New England as well as out-of-region threats.

These players are:

  • Alexander "Pugwest" Martins :4marth: - Rhode Island
  • Eric "ESAM" Lew :4pikachu: - Florida
  • Samuel "Dabuz" Buzby - :rosalina::4bayonetta::4olimar: - New York
Should you want to catch the action live, tune into the PAX Arena stream at 11:30AM EST on the day of the invitational. Premiere casters D'Ron "D1" Maingrette, Terrence "TKBreezy" Kershaw, Phil "EE" Visu and Brendan "Gunblade" Triano will be lending their voices and analysis throughout the day.

PAX, formerly known as the Penny Arcade Expo, is a gaming festival series founded in 2004 by the team behind the Penny Arcade web-comic. PAX events are held multiple times throughout a single year at different locations such as PAX South in Texas and PAX East in Massachusetts.

Lol why these players? Okay I get Massachusetts because home state but Pink Fresh and ESAM? This could be so much better, and ZeRo will obviously take this.

Their picture shows TKBreezy's picture but it says EE, and EE's picture says TK. Hahaha.

Buttt esam needs to come back to melee like seriously tho why doesnt he still play melee he was a good samus main?

Kudos to Marsss for actually smiling. I get the players had no choice on what photo's they chose but all the other players have such boring faces lol.
