So does everyone remember that "potential 0-death combo" thread that was made a while back which talked about Lucario's chain grab to the end of the stage followed by a repeated pummel until the opponent dropped out, then edgeguard with Dair?

Against certain characters, (anyone who's not a fast faller) that doesn't work so well. DK for example can use up B immediately to grab the ledge.

So here's a nice alternative to the super gimp:

When your force palm chain reaches the edge of the stage, rather than doing the typical running grab to pummel, immediately shorthop to Fair>Fair>jump>footstool>Dair.

Lucario's Fair combos when the opponent is usually in the mid-high damage range (60-80). From force palm, you can combo a jumping Fair if you're quick, and against most of the primary chain grab victims, they don't have attacks that are fast enough to get out of the combo at earlier percents, forcing them to air dodge (which doesn't work, due to the fact that Lucario's lag ends before their air dodge lag, allowing him to hit with the third attack even if the second one misses.)

It's a combination of a few favorite Lucario combos and effectively extends the chain grab damage up to around 90%.

Lucky Luc! He has true combos that other characters can only dream of.

The footstool makes it easier to get above your opponent for the Dair, but it sometimes has the effect of making the Dair send your opponent backwards. :/

Either way, Fair>Fair>Dair off the stage is usually enough to KO someone outright.
