I've pretty much adjusted to the lip on Final Destination. Plus, it has cool designs in the back : D

I like FD
kicking a spammers *** never feels good to me on BF, but those two are fair stages either way, and tolerable *cough*NewPorkcity*cough*

Final Destination by far. I rarely play battlefield at all (so I may just be ignorant) and ever since melee I've loved FD for its brilliant 1 vs 1 matches of true skill

i like battle fields edges a lot more, but FD gives a perfect no interference 1 v 1 fight great for tournies, platforms are a whole new game and a different skill that i dont really love, but they cut of projectile spamers and its a much shorter level non stop action, with good music and a pretty nice look, melee fd>all but i'd say brawls battle field is better than brawls fd for friendly matches but tourny FD is a must IMO... my favorite stages are yoshis island and smashville though, corneria if it didn't have interferences

Final Destination becuz I had a VERY scary match on Battle field there. I was Yoshi during this tournament, the other person was wolf. The match started, but I remember it as a nightmare.

The Wolf started by repeatitively shooting his laser. I thought I could solve this problem will an eggtoss, but when I threw the egg, I shattered on the platform. The platform basically acted as a hook for the eggs I threw. Maybe I was throwing it wrong, but when the two eggs I threw both broke on the platform, I panicked. I decided I couldn't egg Wolf as a way to stop his waves of lasers, So I tried to roll toward wolf. Yoshi's roll is the pretty slow, so I had to mix dodges with the rolls to dodge all the laser bolts. I eventually got next to him and I was like: "Now I have you, you di**..." and suddenly got hit by his fsmash. He started shooting again. I tried an airial attack, but he was under the same platform that blocked my eggtosses. I couldn't get him because if I used an airial attack above the platform, the platform would stop me and I would get Warum'ed. If phazed pass the platform, I would get Warum'ed. My only option was to use the roll n' dodge towards wolf, occasionally getting hit by laser bolts. I fought fairly well. I gimped Wolf for the first kill. An decent spike for the 2nd. But Wolfs fsmash, lasers, Warums, and other stuff was just too much. He ocassionally did something skillful, but only as a result form his warum's and fsmashs. I the end we were fairly even, but he won.

I would like to blame a spammy Wolf for my loss, but that wasn't it. It wasn't the spamminess, it was the stage. Therfore I would pick Fd over Battlefield.

battlefield as it goes on will favor a more grounded game then an aerial one. can someone say Snake?
meanwhile FD is pretty even. it lets both type of players.
note: people without projectils will always have a way to close distance.

FD is a stage that can be annoying if you're playing against people who spam lasers. But if you don't, it's a pretty even stage overall. Battlefield is more oriented for aerial gameplay, so I prefer battlefield.

The same exact thing was done to me, same moves and everything, only my opponent was the Ic's and I was Mario.

Defenitely Final Destination, cuz the platforms on Battlefield are soooo irritating. I can't attack from the air because then there is a platform between me and my opponent, and that's a problem.

Smashville, sorry.
It's just... the best level if you are seeking for a neutral, yet big and with some variety, stage.

But since the thread didn't ask this, i'd say Battlefield.

BF.

Recovering isn't that bad for the sake of learning how to avoid the FD armpits.. Just BF helps keep the campers at bay and keeps close combat a must, nowhere to run, nowhere to hide.

But id vote smash if i could XD

Bf all the way.
Final Destination's armpits... nice way of putting it.

I really can't decide though, so put me down for both!;)

i really like battlefield's music but final destination is a really good stage to truly judge skill: nowhere to hide, fire off projectile after projectile, and it is pretty even for all characters.
Are you kidding?

If you're a character that has no ranged/dash option, let's say Bowser, and you go up against, say, Falco/Fox here, you're in trouble. You're going to take massive damage from their laser as there's nowhere to dodge.

FD favors characters with good missile attacks and is by no means fair for all...

What?! YOU can't decide? Haven't you noticed that Peach's combos just flow like hot butter on BF and like molasses in January on FD?
Peach bias aside, BF makes for a fairer match because it tests one's entire moveset capabilities, both horizontal and vertical. FD is biased towards horizontal.
Second: BF balances the characters out from a bias toward the very strongest characters because characters of any strength can KO reasonably easily on BF with its lesser space from the stage to the edge of the screen.

Final Destination < Battlefield < Smashville.

Battlefield kind of messes with you because of the three platforms. High percents and an enemy underneath usually don't go well together. But I pick Battlefield over Final Destination because Final Destination sort of Gimp's some characters recoveries. Some characters can scar the ledge, while others can't. The underside of Final Destination can take a characters life. With that said, I only consider Final Destination to be 'half' of a neutral stage. Smashville is good because it has that one platform to be on if you choose to do so. Then to top it off, you can't get Gimp'd by the stage. Smashville is the best neutral in my opinion. Then Battlefield, then Final Destination.
