Gamecube Controllers still in production?

With Brawl, there are many different controller set ups. Even with the diversity, some people still find the GC controller a suitable and familiar choice. So I have to ask...Are the official nintendo GC controllers still being made? If so are they all in platinum or do they actually come in different colors?

I believe they are still being made... I wouldn't see why they would stop it, but the production probably decreased.

I believe first-party Nintendo ones have stopped, seeing as they stopped producing Gamecubes, however I was just at my local store and saw plenty of third-party ones for very cheap.

The Wavebird has been discontinued but the wired controllers are still in production. As for colors, I am not sure. I've only seen the platinum wired controllers in retail stores lately.

3rd party controllers just look a bit cheap and not as durable. I've never felt like testing one out though. The reason why I ask is I want to get another controller for brawl (or even for melee...). However, I don't want the platinum one that everyone else has....

My little brother recently went to buy one and the only ones that they had for sale were the wavebirds. They're wireless and black. I'm not sure if they even make the orange/ purple ones anymore...
