well, moving on.

why ban grab release tactics?? with the exception of screwing over wario, there's nothing wrong w/ it. and it's not like wario's a bad character. so even if he get's grab released a few times, he can still keep up.

Pretty interesting, just heard about this now. All I have to say is, wow....... This has to be the most refreshing thing I've seen thus far for Brawl. I don't know if I'll ever make it to these (I'll try my best), but to see no MK and all these rules. I'll still use ICs even without the infinite, their grab game is still dangerous anyway. I wonder how this will be without MK and the regular stuff.

PROTIP FOR SUMMIT:

Stop whining about the fish, he can be avoided. Even if you're at the bottom, as long as you don't end up drifting off the sides of the stage (or forced off the stage by the opponent). I probably need to make a pic of this if nobody understands what I'm saying.

I hope to hear good things from this :).

I think I'm coming to the next one. Also, good idea having these on Fridays, I can probably go straight from work :)

I can't get there until around 5:30 though, I hope I make registration

Well Teams Will Start 1st At 6pm This Is For Those Who Are Joining Singles They Will Have Time To Still Make It If They Are Running Late.

Why don't you guys just run brawl+? Accomplishes what you're trying to without all the rule enforcement.

Brawl plus still is not tournament worthy yet there is still a good amount of things that need to be tweaked b4 i will allow it in tournament me bum and many others are working on trying to fix things in brawl plus to make it be the brawl we all wanted. So until then we have to use these gauntlet rules.

Have you played the newest release? It feels very finished. Some rebalancing still needs to be done, but tournament results are needed to do that. Just an idea, either way I'll probably come through this week. Perhaps try running a Brawl+ side event, time permitting.

EDIT: Need a partner.

I'll partner with someone too. I can use snake, luigi, and falcon all pretty well. thats if i make it early enough.

I'll bring my Wii and Brawl.

Brawl+ is too awesome; I'm hoping to get some friendlies in this at least for a while. Sure it can definitely still use more tweaks, but like Ch33s3 said, tournament results would be needed for fairly accurate input on just [i[what[/i] to tweak.

For the future

brawl plus at gauntlets will be a side thing but ppl will have to pay to play either a certain amount of matches or they will be timed i have to think about that. The reason I will be charging is since there will be some brawl plus setups on tvs that i would normally use for regular brawl tournament matches mean biweeklies would have less tvs to run them meaning more time take from them being finished at as you all know money is time people and time is money. SO no hard feeling people I hope its understanding.

Is venue fee waived? I don't like carrying my wii on the subway if I don't have to.

the registration starts are 5pm

event starts at 6pm. But since most ppl love to be late all the time, it'll probably start at like 6:30 or or late 7ish?

I only wished this started early so I won't have a mom/curfew john *hates being in HS* -_-. espcially since its spring break but then again pplz have work soo >.>

And Remember Everyone Registration Starts At 5 Tournament Starts At 6
