Glitching through Delfino Plaza...?

My friends and I were playing on Delfino Plaza yesterday, just a normal match. We were all playing random characters, and I got Mario... we were playing, and we got to the part with the fountain in the center, with stairs going up slightly on each side... the floating platform landed onto the part of the stage, and I landed at the base of the left side stairs, and kept falling through the level and died... no pics, but we do have a snapshot and replay vid on the Wii... yeah, so I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this...

I haven't experienced that, although that's definitely something to watch out for now that I do. That could cause some problems in matches.

I haven't seen/heard about Delfino glitches but I know that Castle Seige has a glitch where you just fall through part of the stage. Hopefully this one can be avoided like the CS one.

A similar thing happened to my friend twice when the stage was landing on the large shine monument thing. He just fell right through and died.

These glitches happen when your hanging onto the edge of the stage, Castle siege and Wario ware.

was you hanging onto the edges when you touched the floor?

Not sure... my memory tells me I wasn't, but I'd have to go to the replay to be sure... when I know for sure, I'll reply again...

Brawl has so many god **** glitches. I'm not usually one to complain but there are so many un necessary glitches.
I agree. For example, anyone with a dair that makes the character plummet (Toon Link, Zero Suit Samus, etc.) can, if sent upwards, do the attack but stay in the same place. Then there's the Gigglypuff (AKA Jigglypuff Final Smash) glitch, which, while not commonly stumbled upon except on purpose, is still kind of big, and others...this one especially, since it really affects gameplay.

It seems like, for such a big game, they didn't put a whole lot of effort in, with errors on the trophies, errors in song titles (Bob-Omb Battlefied =/= the Main Theme of Super Mario 64), and glitches...although we Smash fans may be partially to blame since they were probably rushed through it, and maybe that's why they didn't fix everything. Still, for 2 delays, you'd think they'd have something to show for it.

I was wondering why Super Mario 64 Disc was Bomb-omb battle field. @_@
Yeah, wrong name and bad choice of song. Jolly Roger Bay, anyone? Sure it's a little slow for fighting, but who really cares?

Ok, checked the replay... I was not hanging on the ledge... I was just walking to the left side of the platform before it landed and I simply fell through when it landed... It was especially lucky that I tried for a meteor smash at the very end of the match and got edgeguarded and died at 3:00 lol... but yeah, it was very random as far as I can tell...
