Hello all, been lurking the forums for a bit now, thought it was time I'd introduce myself.

My name is HajinShinobi, and I am a tournament level Ayane player (and top player on the west coast) in DOA5U's tournament scene, and big contributor to the DOA community. A good friend of mine (GR LTP) I met through DOA, who I later learned plays Smash, had a good discussion about Brawl and Melee with me. That one good discussion gave me interest, so I decided to look more into competitive Smash play.

Long story short, I've been pretty fond of tournament Smash and overall good Smash play since then, and have taken interest in learning Smash 4. I like watching solid and top level play of different games (Street Fighter series, KOFXIII, VF5FS, MK9, Smash), as it gives me different ideas about fundamentals and utilization of certain things I didn't think about before in my own game.

I am really liking Smash 4 a lot though, and my all-time favorite character is in the game, Megaman (Ayane being my 2nd overall favorite). Maining and learning Megaman, and I have an interest in Bowser Jr and Duck Hunt Dog. I really like reading the discussion in the character forums quite a bit, I learn something valuable every time I do.

I am also very interested in playing other players here too. The skill level does not matter to me, as I am the type of player that is willing to learn as I play (doesn't matter if I am to loss constantly or not).

@ Nekoo Nekoo Yeah, sadly that is the bit that DOA will always be teased for, lol. Used to it, game is great at a tournament level.

@ _Magus_ _Magus_ Thank you, and thanks for the heads up, I'll keep that in mind.

It really is a lot fun at a tournament level, as I know the Smash series is too. I do have a big interest in learning Smash 4 and want to get very good at it. Tournaments, perhaps, I think it would be a very good experience.
