Me and Roboto Just played a bunch of games online, Finally Lag free. Good games man, our Sonic/Samus Match was Hilarious.

That King Dedede Infi Loop Throw was annoying as hell, but glad I learned that. I'm sure itll be banned from Tourney play.

Yeah Well with UCF, A kid Leland Miller I got into street fighter(was my protege when I used to play) Has started back up the UCF Game Club That I disbanded when I left. Sometime this year I will be helping him to do something BIG at UCF. Just gotta find the time.

Add me on Brawl. Jimi Tomm night I'll be able to play, it's bedtime now.

Man I haven't played any 2D fighter in so **** long. I haven't played CVS2 much since my freshman year and Third Strike in even more time. =( I'd absolutely love some kind of regular Third Strike at UCF =D

As for Dedede's infinite loop... It's really not that bad. From what I hear it only works solidly on four characters (I haven't played against a lot of Dedede), while the rest of the cast might just have trouble getting out of it. Other characters have some pseudo chaingrabs too.

And as far as lag goes... Non-native resolution does not always cause lag; it highly depends on the television. 480i broadcasts on HDTV's are almost always, as a rule, going to cause significant lag, but 480p may not. You might see a lot of scaling artifacts (I've noticed a lot of them on a friend's 1080p screen), but they don't really interfere with the game (or at least they shouldn't).

I'm going to go ahead and assume that most of you have never played on these Samsungs. They're specifically built for gaming. We're not new at gaming, Just Brawl. ;)

Yeah, there really shouldn't be any major lag with a 480p broadcast, particularly on a TV designed for gaming.

And what about my other questions?

^ Well since you mentioned it earlier, how do you transfer your profile to another Wii? Is there a mechanism in the game to do so? I've been pretty much playing on the default controls for fear that a tourney may not let me choose individual controls because of time-saving purposes.

People can bring their own controllers yes. We're going to allow people using their own Names / Controls, but if it becomes too much of a time issue, than we WILL scratch it from the tournament. As much as I'd like to let everyone set things up the way they're used to playing, doing this with over 100 people isn't going to go as smoothly as needed for the time we have for the tournament.

Get a Wii-Mote with fresh batteries. Go to Options > Controls > Highlight Your Name > Press the "+" Button, Press and Hold "1" + "2" together. Choose to Save to Your Wii-Mote. When you go any other Wii just sync it and go into the controls and do the same thing except choose to upload your to the Wii instead. The whole process takes less than 30 seconds to upload your name.

Just make it possible for those who show up early and on time. Anybody else who doesn't show up in time forfeits their customized controls. Seems simple enough. That seems rather easy and fair to me.

^Oh alright. Does it also save GameCube controls to your wiimote? If so, I just show up early to load my profile on all the Wiis.

Yes, it will save all controls under that particular name.

Here's a Serious Suggestion Dumpster.

When Making the brackets(I don't know how you're doing that but there's plenty of auto bracket making programs online I could find a good one for you if you don't have anything yet.) you could have certain brackets at certain TV's rather then doing the Brawl Tourney Maker(Which is easy but for the sake of a Real tournament I don't suggest using it.

So say there's 128 people that enter.

That's 4 brackets of single/double elimination right with 32 people in each. When you randomize it, have certain brackets on certain Tv's. So that way people will end back at their own tv with their controls ready to go the next time they play.

That's just a suggestion.

I just bought a classic Wii Controller, I'm playing Smash better then ever, So I hope we can customize the controller settings.

Yeah, bracket software's very useful.. especially when you don't have 2^n participants and making brackets can get confusing (especially with double elimination).

Yeah, we've been using the tio tournament software from the AiB site, and it works like a dream. Thanks for the heads up though.

Also, we officially have 100 people entered for the tournament as of 12:52am today.

That's quite a bit of money for first place.

28 slots left!!!

Any chance of more than just first and second place getting prizes?
Now that there are 100 people you obviously have enough money to give out prizes to TOP 8 if you wanted...lol

So I'm at Gold's Gym on Turkey Lake Road earlier today. And with Wrestlemania in town there are a few guys working out at our gym.
I walk by the treadmills to see a porn star blonde on the treadmill, every body is gawking. I walk past her and see a biker looking dude(First Glance) and was like Yep a wrestler.

Had tattoos all over and was just slowly walking on a treadmill with his headphones in. He wasn't paying anyone any attention.

Ends up, it was the UNDERTAKER(One of my favorites growing up). So he think's he's all big and bad, people try to get his attention to say hi and he doesn't really say much besides a handshake.

So later during my workout, I walk by none other then Tiger Woods working out in the circuit training room. I then See the Undertaker walking through the Gym with his girl, his head literally snaps to the left and see's Tiger Woods. He freaks out and his gf hasn't a clue who Tiger Woods is until Undertaker tells her it's Tiger Woods. The Undertake couldn't believe he's looking at Tiger. How funny a huge Wrestling Celebrity gets star struck.

Moral of the story, There is Always a Bigger Fish.

See you all Sunday :).

All spots for the tournament are full. If you haven't registered by now, we can put your name on the waiting list if someone doesn't show up. THERE ARE NO GUARENTEES THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PLAY IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY SIGNED UP.

If you are interested in being on the waiting list, you have to show up. We will not be accepting email wait list requests at this time.

PS planning this thing is crazy.

What time does the tourney actually begin? It still says 1:30pm; I'm not sure if you planned on starting a little earlier.

Be here at 1. When it says the tourny starts at 1:30, that means people will start Brawling at 1:30. We have a little over 6-7 hours of gaming to get through, so we're gonna do our best to get this going as smoothly as possible.

Spread the word. Be here at 1. Tourny starts at 1:30.
