Hey people he is my problem i have been in public school through k-5th grade then i desided to be homeschooled through 6-8th grade im still in 8th grade, but i have desided to go back to public school. So i have skipped middle school. i want to know your in's and out's about highschool what i should look out for, ect.. your opinion will not affect if im going or not so plz post.

Dont take advanced classes if you are not prepared for ALOT of homework. And if you are doing a sport.

If you take advanced math classes, expect the teachers to say things like "THIS IS A LEVEL 1 CLASS, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIND THE SQUARE ROOT OF 18.5 IN YOUR HEAD" (not literally; my point is that they will expect you to be geniuses and they shouldn't have to do their jobs.

That was my experience, anyways.

Well look out for seniors, don't miss with them or else you'll get beat up (like me).

But yeah and don't get too cocky or conceited, everyone hates that. Other than that be what you usually are.

pick your close friends carefully but be open to everyone.

if your being hated, let em keep hatin', dont worry about them. In high school, theirs a lot of hatin cause of relationships and stuff.

but yeah try to be positive as you can.

Anyways, yeah don't take advanced classes if you play 3 sports. I found out the hard way. Practice came before homework. And still does. Bad habit. I'm aware of it.

That's how it is at my school. Best class ever...Independent Art Studio. I get to do whatever I want.

Don't worry about the kids in high school. The cardinal rule is that everyone is too focused on themselves to care about you. Just do stuff you like and don't worry about it. Being funny really helps though. Class wise, take what you can handle, but also try to challenge yourself. It will help when going to college, especially if you have 1+ semester knocked out of the way :]

Actually, I hang out with a few because, well, I don't know why. They are kinda cool to hang with, since they only do it rarely at home.

As long as you don't do anything I don't see why you wouldn't hang with them if you like them. If you do stuff, well it's your choice.

Eh, it does have an effect on you being around them. But i wouldn't give up my athleticism, cause smoking makes you run slower.

I hated High School. I never had a girlfriend so everyone thought I was gay. I was just quiet, and wasn't happy about not getting a girlfriend.

Everyone also though I was a psychopath...mostly just because I was quiet.

Start off with all of the hardest classes. If you feel any of them are too much for you to handle, just drop down to regular-ed classes.

Do some extra-curiculars, but not too many. I somehow manage to juggle all AP classes, Track, Student Council (exec board), Class Council (officer), Technology Club (president), and Guitar. But...

Start off with the AP classes, enroll yourself in a few electives you might be interested in... but if you feel like it's too much don't be afraid to drop down to regular-ed classes.

Talk to some people while you're in class. The ones that seem to actually be trying to complete their assignments are usually the better people.

It just doesn't help when you walk around the school with a backpack stuffed with like ten books and it ends up being twice as wide as you are. Also, rolly-backpacks are a no-no
