I have acquired an immense hatred of Ryu today. Hadouken spam everywhere, that down B that can be cancelled and reversed so that you never know where OR IF it's going to come out, insane range, kills early, crazy combo game, the light/medium/heavy thing giving him unprecedented flexibility, hitboxes that don't even come close to matching the animations, Tatsumaki being incredibly difficult to punish, I don't think this guy is even close to balanced. I'm going to wait until I play a few Ryus in person, but just judging by today's For Glory matches, I can easily see this guy being nearly as strong as Brawl Meta Knight. Oh, and he's another "no, 60 dollars wasn't enough" character. Until he gets nerfed, you can now bribe your way to victory in Smash Bros.
