I have been watching a couple of streams and I noticed a bit of lag but if anyone has the game have you noticed any lag when playing even though you are playing with Japanese people?

And hows the local wireless lag, if there is any?
I still can't comprehend there being no lag without link cables similar to the Gameboy Advance.
Has wireless come so far, that the lag is as unnoticeable as a wimmote pointing at the tv?

I have nothing but the highest levels of confidence when it comes to Namco's netcode being godlike, but can even they simulate an almost unnoticeable lag across continents?

unfortunately there's a lot of lag if you play more than 2 players at the moment , hell even when you play local , is better than brawl sure, but is nothing godlike for what i've seen at the moment

I've had a lot of fun playing online. I've not had any really bad connection issues, out of about 40 online matches (For Glory and For Fun, 1 on 1 and 4 player matches) I've had 2 bad connections. As far as lag goes, I'm not an expert when it comes to playing the game, but it seems like when I input my moves it happens immediately. However a real pro at the game may notice slight lag I can't detect.

The majority of matches for me have been good. If you want to hear it...much better, on average, than Brawl. I was hopeful but not expecting them to be as smooth as they have been.

That said there are still a handful of laggy matches but none of them have been unplayable. Maybe I'm just lucky.

Oh, and they've all been 1vs1 For Glory, I've played around 250 matches now

Over about six hours of local play on the demo, I ran into minor lag three times or so, and each time it quickly went away. We attributed it to the fact that we were playing in a college dorm just loaded with wireless interference.

Hate to necro a two-year-old thread, but... so far, I'm mostly ok when I play. Match me up with someone in the UK or Europe however, and I am completely screwed (literally a second of input lag!) And that's 1v1... put me in with 4-player FG of any kind, and it lags a bit worse, although it depends on who I end up with (usually the mighty Japanese... for some reason, Australian SSB4 carts prefer Japan over other regions, even it's own! ;))

And local seems to depend on which 3DS systems are connected, I've had a couple of odd hiccups when playing with people who have the new 3DS/new 3DS XL, but otherwise, local's pretty good.

Please make a new thread. Don't bump threads where the last post was more than a month ago.
