How to change the size of platforms in the stage builder?

I've seen (and downloaded) a few stages that have bigger blocks than what the stage builder add by default.
I have tried loads of things in the stage builder and used the search button but cant work out how to do it.

How do you change the size of the blocks in the stage builder?

in the bottom right hand corner before the column full of blocks and stuff, there is four little arrows pointing out towards all four corners... if you click that, you will see three little squares, each one bigger than the next... this shows how big your block will be. there's normal, medium, than large.
