I finished SSE.... Buttttt

Hi.
I just finished SSE, and how come i'm still only 69% way through the game..
Why is this>
I tried getting Toon Link, hes hard, and since i can only chose from a few characters, hes even harder

Is there any other way to get Jigglypuff or Wolf (after beating SSE, and not having to find them in the secret places, and aside from vs mode)?

An easier way to get wolf is to go into the secret room on the iseki stage (the stage with lots of fire coming out of the floor and roof and a platform which you stand on for a long time with spikes on the walls). On that level get to the said platform and stay on it. There will appear a door sooner or later which you probably entered last time. Don't enter it, instead stay on the platform all the way until it stops at the floor. Enter the door at the floor and then wolf will appear. This can be done with any character at any difficulty.

(i just unlocked toon link and then did classic mode)

You don't really have to search the secret places.
There are walkthroughs everywhere.

You need to get every single golden box in the SSE in order to get 100%. Or so I presume.

A good indicator is if the stage you just cleared has a flag on it. If it's got a flag on it, you didn't everything you could on it. If it doesn't, there's still stuff to do.
