I need to know everything about Fox

There seems to be no guides here, but i think i'll start using Fox since he goes well with Lucas in my opinion. So first off, does he have the same laser cancel thing Falco does, SHDL i think it's called??

1. It seems he gets most of his kills from upsmash, uair, and shine spiking/gimping recoveries. But I'd like to know all of his killing moves. And when/how to use his usmash to kill, as in, what moves should come before it, i can guess dashing usmash, but does dair to usmash work???

2. What is his approach game like, what are good approaches. From what I've seen, laser and maybe just dashing since he's fast.

3. I think i saw someone chaingrab using Fox, it looked either dthrow or fthrow, and you had to dash after each throw? Can someone tell me if this works, or who it works on.

4. What does he rack up damage with? AKA, what are some good combos? It would seem people really like dair to just about anything, i've seen dsmash, upsmash, up tilt, ftilt. But after the second hit, are there any more moves you can chain.

5. What's his best throw combowise?

6. How is his edgegame. It looks elite, very good. Shine looks real nice for gimping, and he has a good vertical jump, and a decent upB for recovery. Other than shine, is his bair good, what else is good for killing off the edge, or at least pushing people farther out of the way, forcing them to upB, then shine it.

I'm not a Fox "main," so let me know if I'm off.

Yes, he can SHDL and land with no lag. His rate of fire doesn't speed up while airborne like Falco's though (not that Fox's blaster needs it).

1. For the most part it's Usmash and Fsmash. Dsmash can KO pretty well too, but it's not as strong and can be used outside KO'ing. Shine spiking is good, but it's toned down a lot from its melee days. Dair to Usmash I think works at higher %, not sure though. I know that Dair to Dsmash works at mid % and up.

2. Eh, laser is good to make an opponent come to you, but that won't work on everyone. Dashing is pretty standard, but it can get predictable. SHFair is a decent approach. You need to activate the Fair instantly though or it won't cancel the lag.

3. It was probably Fthrow, it doesn't work unless your opponent is dumb. Even at lowest %'s, I'm pretty sure this doesn't actually work.

4. Dair to Utilt(s) to Nair is pretty good. DashA to Utilt(s) to Nair. His Fair does 23% if all the hits connect.

5. Eh, IDK... I'd go with Dthrow I guess. I don't really like Fox's throws that much.

6. It's decent. He has high vertical jumps but fast falling speed. Bair is good, Nair is good. Dair can be used to "semi-spike" people with poor vertical recover, but be careful that you don't FFDair. Fair isn't really that good since all the hits don't tend to connect off the edge.

ya, definitely helps, also, does this work: dair to shine, to dash attack, to utilt, to nair--I'll stop there since that's as far as i got, but there may be another aerial that leads into another aerial besides nair since i don't know the knockback or anything of nair, or really any of his aerials since i just picked him up for like 5 minutes.

It can, you need to DI the Dair so you're as close as possible to your opponent so that the shine will connect. Then you need to be as quick as possible on linking the dash attack.

my friend uses Kirby and told me that if a fox tries to shoot him he just ducks and since Kirby is so short,the lasers cant touch him and if a fox dash attacks him just shield grabs and throws him way.

Kirby is evil.
