I know there is a character specific forum but I didn't need all the Ike clans ****** me aether style over this post.

As you may have all notice by now, Ike is easily one of the most powerful characters in the game. Any of his smash moves will KO at very low percentages (even with DI) . That wouldn't be a problem except for one move... Aether.

Aether is ridiculously OP (overpowered for all you noobz out there). Super armour frames, multiple hits and its so F*CKING quick its not even funny. At first it was clear that Ike was just a Roy clone (cept for the obvious slow down) but with the adition of Aether, he has now assended from Roy's low-mid tier to his new high- top tier position.

The move is spammable and far too difficult to counter. Roy was always over shadowed by Marth in Melee, but if Roy had Aether, he would bin top tier in no time flat.

Which Ike are you playing? Ike isn't as slow as we all originally heard, but he's by no means "quick." A good chunk of his powerful moves have good start-up lag and can be dodged without too much difficulty unless of course you're crowding them.

Speedy characters can have a field day on Ike, but considering they tend to be lighter, they can be KO'd by his high knockback smashes. So he's pretty good, but definately not broken.

Oh, and I have to post this because of your name... http://youtube.com/watch?v=oHg5SJYRHA0

And I may or may not of posted that entire thing just to post that link >_>

Ike is a very unique character and is very fun to against in a 1V1.
If you know someone who can play him real good he isn't really slow or fast he's just right.
But either way Ike can be had, all you have to do is approach him with caution and know that most of his moves cover most of his body all around.
If you keep this in mind and play around Ike's mind games. Ike is just indeed another Roy.
Below Marth!

I now know the truth! Aether is the best move in the game. I did not notice this earlier, but his logic is undeniable! I tried it out aether spamming on my friends, and I got an infinite combo that eventually kills once you reach about 70%! Now I can truly be an POKEMON MASTER IKE MASTAR

obvious troll is obvious

If your talking about Ike's Edge-Game, then Aether is
pretty **** useful. Ike isn't broken, but a very decent
character to play with.
