Wait, buh? Standalone? No, it'd make people angry. Especially people who don't get classic platformers (which were also repetitive and mind-numbingly frustrating, as opposed to this generation of easy games)...
On another note, I liked the enemies. SSE's only real issue is that there weren't enough healing items along the way. That's the first thing I noticed.
