I know its strong, but it is hard for me to take full advantage of it greatness.
how can i attack my opponents so that i can hit them with the final moment of the tornado and thus quite possibily kill them.
please help, this would improve my mario game.

its hard killing with the mario tornado....it needs very high percents...the hitbox that gives the vertical knockback is located in marios mid/upper body....though ur best bet is sending them in the air and trying to intecept them with another air....u have better options to kill people at high percents in the air such as f-air,n-air(first frames),b-air and u-air though...

So, would it be better to hit the character from above them or from the side with the tornado? I am also having difficulty landing the sweet spot consistently for the knockback.

It's best to use the tornado from the side; opponents can counter the tornado easier from above. You might also want to use a SH fireball or two to set up a SH tornado too, if you feel you can't land a D-smash.

*Be sure you aren't too far away when using the tornado; obviously not too close either, but up close it's a bit more forgiving*

Okay, good to know, but what about if there is more than one opponent to use the tornado on? Would it still be better to hit from above or from the side again?

In FFAs, just wait for an appropriate opening and you you'll be able to land it at any desired angle, but I still recommend using the same approach.

*F.L.U.D.D. can work nicely to disrupt a FFA for a moment*
