I just found out something snake might get saved

There is a metal gear solid V being made and 1/4 of it comes out this month

I've sadly not been keeping up all that much with MGS5 development. Nice to know that Ground Zeroes is around the corner.

I wouldn't count on a Snake confirmation, however. If Sonic's example is anything to go by, returning Third-Parties get their own little confirmation trailers during global Directs (which Sonic had back in October). I would expect Snake to also have his confirmation trailer played during a Direct; the next global Direct is next month, so his chances this month may be slim.

But who knows if this is actually a pattern; I would certainly welcome any MGS-Smash news anytime.

Going by the current trend, only Newcomers and Third-Parties (returning or otherwise) appear to have Direct(/E3) reveal worthiness***. They could break the pattern, but there doesn't seem to be a reason to break it, either (since Sakurai is only trickling information bit by bit, which makes Direct reveals all the more explosive).

But indeed, I await Snake's return with some amount of trepidation. Whatever the case, it's safe to say that we won't be seeing him tonight of all nights.

***Luigi was confirmed via August's Direct, IIRC - but that was only in the context of the Year of Luigi.
