Ness' PK Thunder.

Almost every Ness I know praises it so much just because WOW YOU CAN CONTROL IT and because WOW PK THUNDER 2 KILLS EARLY. It's too bad you have to literally be blind to get hit by PKT2 heh
QFT

that was the main thing I got out of the ness boards.. prime example of how theory bros rrumps all there.:chuckle:

EDIT:
WOAH! what the **** did i just say?? W/e im leaving that for posterity!

you can do tricks but all you have to do is sit and spam
Never fought against a good one that can shdl properly I take it

I think I'm gonna go with snake's ftilt. Most people complain about its range and priority but the only time I ever really get hit with it is when I make a mistake.

No. PKT is the best move in the game. Can any other Up Projectile be used to recovery? NO!

PKT isn't overrated. It's certainly not garbage though, you've obviously never played a good ness for at least 3 rounds because you'd be suprised how often pkt2 hits (usually from airdodging a pkt right into the "mindgamed" pkt2)...but yeah probably tornado, it used to work but now it's pretty easy to DI then punish, only noobs complain anymore...

Even if you DI out of the tornado, you've still taken some hits from it. That's what makes the tornado so good. It's basically free damage.
Even if you don't shield the Tornado but just DI out of it you can still punish MK. It's basically free damage.

Not for heavies and fastfallers. The tornado is the sole reason why DK doesn't counter MK.

It's neither about the fall speed nor about the weight but the size.
Snake can DI out of the Nado, D3 can't even though Snake is heavier than D3.
D3, DK and Bowser - the three biggest characters - are the only ones who can't DI out of it.

You play Fox right? You should perhaps learn to SDI it then, since it's a free Dair.

The Tornado has a huge hitbox, can move really fast and it is really hard to stop it. If it ends at the right height above the ground MK doesn't even have landing lag on it.

It's nearly unpunishable and really broken. This move is not overrated o_O;

Din's fire is just annoying.
Just because Din's Fire is annoying doesn't mean that it is overrated. Din's Fire is actually a really good move if used correctly, so people saying that it is good isn't really overrating it.

Anyways, I would say that spamming Pikachu's thunder is overrated, because quite a few people believe that nothing can stop it, when you just have to have decent timing.

I can say without a doubt that Pit's Arrow Looping is the most overrated move in the game, and anyone that uses this seriously should be ashamed by themselves. It takes time to set up, you are completely vulnerable when doing it, and it's impossible to hit with it. Most importantly, you look like an idiot doing it. You can do 3 Arrows by the time you do one Arrow Loop, and why some Pit mains forward this as a good technique I will never know

I don't think any Pit mains think this is really that great, it's just fun and improves your arrow accuracy. You aren't completely vulnerable while you are doing it because you can stop whenever you want to and it isn't impossible to hit with.
Also why do you look stupid doing it?

I'm not saying that arrow looping is efficient but it was never really overrated in the first place.

That's kinda like saying yoshi's DR/DT looks stupid. They're both gimmicks that the players like to do if they can...

Dins Fire, you can see it a mile away and its hard to control, and it also leaves you open.

♥Din's Fire! ^__^

♥The people who make it overrated are the people who don't realize that a single press of a button (and maybe a control stick movement) can neutralize its effects in the air.(which is actually quite a few people) ;)

*Major Yoshi Facepalm Emote*

Except.... Yoshi's DR is actually USEFUL in combat. I'm saying it looks stupid because it takes great skill and timing, while about a months worth of training, for what? 5%? Especially when you can shoot 3 Arrows by that time.

If if was a rarity, then I wouldn't be here saying so. However it seems like almost every Pit I come across actually USE Arrow Looping SERIOUSLY during mid combat. It's just so.... pathetic that most of the people I play actually use it like it was actually useful.

Hmmm. Gotta go with either Din's Fire or WoI.

Come to think of it, though, most everyone knows now that WoI is kinda lame...

I would say Marth's spike is overrated. Don't get me wrong, the move is great but, it has alot of end lag and if you miss than you can get punished.

Falco's chaingrab. It's still amazing, but not an insta-win. There are very few characters it auto-kills, and most of them were terrible characters anyway.

dins fire easily.

Approaching a zelda spamming it with DK's grounded upb is funny :p
^^

Yeah, I'll agree it's Din's Fire, but I have been killed by it a good many unfortunate times :(

I could also look at Lucas' up-smash, it's strong, but...it's SO easy to see coming (as someone who uses Lucas ALOT, I can atest this, lol)

arrow looping is not helpless
kupo power shields an attack at :55
mmac is funny

arrow looping is the michael jordan of mindgames
specifically mmac should watch 2:05
:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

and watching these pits again, makes me think the pits wings are actually underrated now as opposed to being overrated when the game came out
Those vids kinda made me agree with Mmac. Arrow looping doesn't seem to have a point, nor a function that normal arrows wouldn't be better for.

EDIT: I should point out that I didn't view those vids in full, just the first part and the parts I was directed towards.
