Actually I just recently changed my mind, I don't care about youtube vids anymore.

I watched versat13's Sunrise Tournament Hype video for inspiration and he made it work by using enough flashy effects that it isn't as apparent. I think I can do the same. Although I still PREFER bins It's no prob at all to link me to youtube.

9s are cool, I like 9s, I just want more than just 9s overall but 9s are still cool

Well we Finns barely take any replays ever unless it's something awesome like a 9. Now let's see... I have one where I land a 9 in the very bottom blastzone to a stagespike kill. Another one is a Dthrow -> Dsmash -> Techchase into a 9 and a Dthrow -> 8 -> 9.
And of course the bacon gimp thing if you want it.

But yeah as of right now, I haven't touched vegas in some days, probably won't today either. Hopefully if I talk to some people at work and they let me bring in my laptop I can do it on my downtime at work, that'd be legit.

@Chozo, I haven't did anything in a few days because i've been packing. I'm supposed to be moved out by tomorrow and there's no way i'm gonna finish this ****

anyway about the video: like I was telling Makke, the actual video won't take long i'm spending the most time trying to figure out how to do things the way i have it envisioned in my head. If it proves too complicated i'll just hurry up and finish, but essentially i'm still in planning stages sorta. I promise though when I figure out how to get my ideas working It'll just take me a night to make. I made the NYTE tourney teaser vid in one night with no idea what I was doing.

But the format I'm thinking of is gonna be like 3 combo videos rolled into one with 3 different songs. One of my ideas (probably the easiest) in going to have the video be a game and watch and the combo video in the screen. And i'm gonna sync it to the song I have in mind (which I'm not revealing for obvious reasons)

The first song is an Electronic/Hip-hop song, the second is a House song, and the 3rd will be a funny song but I have some good ideas for it.

Just a little peek at the direction i'm thinking of taking. I'm using Kaak's combo video as inspiration but I want this to be better.

Also I killed my partner with a 9 in a doubles tourney once.

Update: SmileyFace's hard drive has corrupted/crashed, and I have taken over this combo video. I have gone through this thread and taken any videos or bins that are able to be saved. Please continue to post more videos and files here or PM them to me, and once I get an adequate amount of material I will begin work.

Also song suggestions are appreciated, just so that I can match the overall feel of the GnW boards for this. I might not necessarily use the songs, but if it will work well enough it will be used.

Seeing as this is a community combo, I think everyone should have a part in it. Songs I have now (tentative) are: Deadline by Dutch Force, Icarus by Madeon, The Indigenous by Titch, It's Up to You by Hard Trance Techno, and Where The Hood At? by DMX. That will be cut down and likely changed around, especially if a song is suggested that is really good.

The ones I have are primarily trance, various subgenres of it, but that is the basic feeling I am going for.
I personally believe that the music is what makes a combo video either lame or hyped up.

Very true that music makes or breaks the vid. Trance is usually the best genre for combo vids, but catchy chiptunes never hurt in a G&W vid. As long as all the songs are good and go together well idc what you put.

I don't know, I'm just one person, but I basically live on youtube and electronic music tends to make better combo videos. But if you find a rock/metal song that really fits, go for it.
