Mr Game & Watch the root of all evil! (SSE Spoilers)

Embodiments of a primordial
substance that can take the form of
any number of lesser Subspace foes.
They can also copy the forms of
trophies to create evil
doppelganger versions of them. The
mysterious substance inside
Mr. Game & Watch can be extracted
endlessly. Once Tabuu discovered
this, he used Mr. Game & Watch to
create the Subspace Army.

Game & Watches heart is as dark as his pixelated body!

Hey, maybe it's against G&W's will that his power be used like that. After all, he isn't evil in that Final Epic Showdown screenshot where all the characters are like, going to fight the final boss or something.

I wondered why Mr. G&W made it back, and in the Subspace Emissary of all places! No wonder there were so many of him in the halberd, controlling it. And, go figure, you had to defeat a million Mr. G&Ws to unlock him in Melee. This doesn't necessarily mean he's bad though. He could just be a pawn, controlled by Taboo. It could be Taboo imprisoned G&W or made him a slave and kept getting Shadow Bugs from him. So, the oldest Nintendo icon (I think) is a pawn in the guy's evil plan.

Mr. Game and Watch should get a good hammer beating by the Ice Climbers for being a bad boy and allowing the bad guys to use him to replicate those guys.
