as i have found recently, i seem to be the only yoshi player in my state(Arizona, if anyone here is from there please say so!!) that does any competitive battling or has any skill. this means that i have noone to learn from face to face, noone to coach me head on with tons of repetitive battles to make me succeed at techniques. all that i am left with are computer players that are too predictable when i am trying out a move, or competitive wifi battling, where i doubt myself and tend to use techs that i "know" will work while this limits my options and makes me predictable, not allowing me to learn anything in the process of experiencing a crushing defeat. can anyone suggest a good way to practice techniques in an environment where i won't feel so much pressure to win that i do not try out the move i originally created the match for? :) :(

Well, fighting other Yoshis is only a 35th of the game. I'm sure Arizona is home to plenty of talented smashers.

If you can't find anything like that, just keep playing on Wi-Fi if you have a good connection.

its not playing against one simply. it is finding one that i can converse stratagies in person and can actually teach me exact timing to use skills, i havnt found any az yoshi players capable of telling me this. that, was what i was asking. unless someone is willing to call anyone else, and with my parents getting creeped out that i even chat, i doubt they would let me have a telephane chat with any one of you peoples to get timings right. also, about the wifi, it really doesn't help. im too competetive and i get over pressuresd and do not try out new techniques anyone know another methid of communication that i can use to mabey talk with you guys to help me get down timings and situations to use moves. it's not really about facing a yoshi, but an expirienced player that knows yoshi that can teach me strats in real time. sorry to sound so demanding, but i can't seem to improve without real time advise, which i got alot of in melee with fox(which i now replaced with yoshi, the almost least seen char in the game)
